I always thought the miniseries was fantastic, but I'm really falling in love with it now in a way I didn't before - hell, compared with some of the things that happen later, it's almost light and fluffy.
It's definitely crazy and painful to rewatch, though, especially after season 4.5. Dee! Gaeta! BOOMER.
And serial shows are *so much* better when you marathon them.
Agreed! I tend to notice it with a lot of shows, but I find it's especially true of Heroes - to the point where I'm seriously considering not watching the next season until volume five is over, spoilers be damned.
After the finale, I went and rewatched all sixty-something BSG vids I have saved on my computer. Which took me a really long time, but it was so satisfying.
