So, I finally managed to watch the new episode of Wizards Of Waverly Place! My copy was totally out of sync, which was a little distracting, but I managed to have thoughts.
Wizards Of Waverly Place: 3-1 Fanken-girl
I miss Justin's eighties hair! D.Henrie, what is up with the weird, flat, emo hair? Sad :(
People were saying this wasn't a great episode? Which, it wasn't one of their best, maybe, but it also wasn't their worst (for me, that will always be Alex Does Good, which is the only episode I really don't like). All I really want from this show is a) Alex and Justin, b) wacky magical hijinks, and c) incesty subtext. Plus, optionally, Max being endearingly stupid. And this episode had all of those, so I'm happy.
So, we finally get to see inside Justin's room. Which ... is there more of the room we didn't see? I'm guessing maybe not, since we know Alex's room is bigger. But I didn't actually see a bed in there (which is maybe why it took me so long to figure out the room was actually Justin's). Um, maybe because his room isn't where he sleeps? I'm just saying.
(ETA: I actually just remembered that we did see inside it, a little, in You Can't Always Get What You Carpet. Which looked totally different. Whatever.)
Also, JUSTIN MADE ALEX WEAR A CHEERLEADING UNIFORM. And then he videotaped it. For his own reasons, WHATEVER THOSE MIGHT BE.
Haha, I kind of have this thing for my favourite characters, who really aren't the cheerleading type, becoming cheerleaders (see also: Haley on One Tree Hill ♥). So, even though it's totally not likely, I kind of want this storyline to stick.
Okay, I'm going to go back to thinking about all the ways I could make Justin + Alex + cheerleading uniform porny. Which is not difficult.
This is the first time I've actually had new WOWP canon, since I got into fandom after the movie came out. It's very exciting.
