Legend of the Seeker: 2-10 Perdition
So ... that was pointless. As far as I can tell, the entire point of Leo's arc was a) Cara learns about ~feelings, and b) the gang goes to find Richard. Which seems like a cop-out on both fronts, and had nothing to do with Leo as an actual character. SO HERE'S HOW I WOULD HAVE DONE IT.
* They were there for, like, months, right? CARA AND KAHLAN BOND (WITH OPTIONAL SEXYTIMES). CARA HAS FEELINGS AND IS ADORABLE. THE END.
* Instead of one new Seeker, they go through, like, five of them, all of whom die in increasingly ridiculous and hilarious ways. Like the one who's attacked by a killer chipmunk. And the one Cara accidentally kills with sex. Eventually, they get fed up, and go find Richard, with exactly the same result.
THERE, I FIXED IT FOR YOU.
I am so conflicted about Leo, basically, because he is AN INTERLOPER who I inexplicably feel is stealing all the screen time that should rightfully be used for Cara/Kahlan bonding, but on the other hand, he makes Cara have ADORABLE FACES. So, whatever. He is stupid, though, because a) CLEARLY CARA TOPS, WTF WAS HE EVEN THINKING, and b) CARA'S FACE AFTER THEY HAVE SEX ONE TIME AND HE ASSUMES THEY ARE ~GOING STEADY~ OR WHATEVER. Also, what is his deal re: wooing Cara by talking about woodland creatures? It's both cute and obnoxious.
The fight scene at the end was pretty, though. Legend of the Seeker knows how to do cool visuals. AND PRETTY LADIES, WHY DO I EVEN CARE ABOUT THE PLOT? (I would watch the entire episode again JUST TO WATCH CARA'S FACE, TRUFAX. They don't even have to be talking. IN CONCLUSION: SOMEBODY SHOULD GOSSIP GAYS THE HELL OUT OF THIS SHOW.)
