...There are people who *didn't* like the new Young Avengers #1? (the only thing I'm unhappy about is WHERE IS ELI? WHY IS HE UNAVAILABLE?)

I would recommend the kid Loki JiM arc? I didn't really care about Loki either, but Gillen does an excellent job and it's probably the first thing I've read in a long time that reminded me of Sandman/Lucifer in a good way.

If you enjoy adorable superhero girlfriends, and you haven't already, you should read Nomad: Girl without a World and the back up series she had in Captain America vol. 5, plus the few issues of Young Allies they put out, with Rikki Barnes and Anya Sofia Corazon, because they are SO TOTALLY GIRLFRIENDS. I also didn't think Joss's run on Runaways was anything great? And I stopped reading when that was done, because I heard it got even worse afterwards. I wish Molly had her own book, co-starring Wolverine and Speed. Because that would be AMAZING.

Also, ULTIMATE CAP IS THE WORST. LIKE, LITERALLY THE WORST. He gets Peter killed (I love Miles, but Peter is still my forever favorite in any 'verse), and he doesn't even have the excuse in the Ultimateverse of having lost his teenage sidekick. I really enjoy in 616 whenever he's like, "NO TEENAGERS!" because you know it's all BUCKY FEELS ALL THE TIME on that score, but in the Ultverse he's just a giant raging douchecanoe, which kind of misses the ENTIRE POINT of Steve Rogers as a character.

...I have a lot of feelings about this, clearly.
