I watched the Privileged pilot - I wasn't really sure what to expect, since I hadn't heard anything about it before a couple of people on my flist mentioned it, and I watched it purely for Michael Cassidy ♥, but I enjoyed it. I'll probably keep watching, since I really do love him.

Sarah Connor Chronicles: 2-1 Samson And Delilah

OMG T1000! T1000! That was so freaking cool. I really wasn't sure what I'd make of Shirley Manson's character, but she's a frelling Terminator, so yay. This makes me happy.

The entire episode was made of win - I loved evil!Cameron, and John cutting his hair and probably killing some guy and almost sacrificing Cameron and finally starting to become soldier!John Connor instead of emo teen!John Connor, and Cameron's fake tears, and fireman!Derek (yum!) and Sarah being generally awesome and Charley also being there and Ellison being MADE OF AWESOME. And T1000! This is definitely one of my favourite shows at the moment, and I'm so excited about the new season. And I'm really tempted to start writing fic, particularly since talumin made an offhand comment while we were watching that gave me plot bunnies ...

My own personal opinion is that Sarah killed Sarkissian and John is even more cut up about that than he would have been had he killed the man, because of the conversation he and Derek had earlier in the day where Derek mentioned that Sarah had never killed anyone before and how that was a good thing. Now John will have to deal with not only all these deaths because of him but that his own mother has now had to kill someone to protect him. (Even so, I love that the editing made it ambiguous as to who did the actual killing. They're both culpable for it.)

Ooh, I like that. Honestly, I think I'd prefer if Sarah had killed him (despite what some network promos might think, I am actually watching the Sarah Connor Chronicles, not the John Connor Chronicles), so I like your take on it, and I really like that they left it ambiguous.
