Greek: 2-4 Gays, Ghosts And Gamma Rays

I seriously could not love this show more. Max/Casey is absolutely adorable, and I ship them like whoa - I'm glad his big secret is out of the way, and so far they are really cute together (and the kiss in the ZBZ house was wow). Yay, fun new guy!

Also yay - Ashleigh has a job. (One that doesn't compromise her pores or her fashion sense, obviously.) And I always love Ash/Calvin BFF scenes. I loved that Calvin invited her to the gay bar, and that she invited Rebecca - I hope we get to see more of the Ash/Rebecca friendship.

As much as I like Michael (Max Greenfield ♥), I ship Calvin/Heath like whoa - I kept hoping they would get back together eventually, and this week's episode seemed like a clear indication that that's going to happen. So, yay! Because I love Heath, and he and Calvin are really cute together.

Loved Cappie and Rebecca's reactions to the break-up - her wallowing, and hopefully now realising how awesome she is so that she doesn't need to wallow any more, and Cappie's flat-out denial until it finally caught up with him. I'm rewatching the series with talumin, and as much as I love Cappie and Rebecca together, I'm looking forward to seeing what they do with her outside the relationship now that she has some actual character development. (More bonding with Ash! *fingers crossed*)

Also, it was fairly obvious that Joshua Whopper wasn't real, and especially that he wasn't Cappie - "What kind of hippies would name you Joshua?" doesn't exactly have the same ring to it ;)


Privileged: 1-2 All About Honesty

I'm still not sure if I'm going to keep watching this; it's cute, but I'm not a fan of shows that feel like they have to keep the main female character continually off-balance, so I hope it starts feeling less like every week she has to fight to keep her job, etc. Michael Cassidy is still awesome, though, and I wish there was more of him in the episodes.


90210: 1-4 The Bubble

I was glad that Ethan and Naomi got back together in the end - their dynamic, from the way it's been described, sounds interesting, so it was nice to finally see some of that instead of just hearing about it. It was also nice to see that magical new girl!Annie didn't immediately break through "the bubble." And Ethan actually made Naomi smile, which, I was already getting sick of the family angst, so that was good.

I love Dixon and Silver, but they're a shade too cutesy for me at this point. Maybe if (when) they actually get together they'll have a slightly different dynamic, and I'm sure they could work together, so I'm reserving judgement. It was awesome to see some Silver and Naomi scenes, though, and I hope they get more of them.

I continue not to care about Annie very much, but I like Ty (hello, Tom Welling look-alike), so I was glad they made up or whatever. And I'm not really a fan of perfect couple-to-be!Annie-and-Ethan, so. (Although, yes, the pentapus was very cute. But Dixon's right - she's hanging on to an adolescent crush from one summer two years ago, so I'd like to see her get over that before they ever get together.)

And on to slightly more important business - Dylan is the father? I was sort of hoping it would be Brandon, but then, I stopped watching the original series before it ended, so I'm more than a little vague on the whole history thing and how it ended, anyway. But the reveal nicely foreshadowed the Ethan and Naomi reconciliation, and I do like the parallels they're drawing between the old and new series (even if they're kind of hard to miss). And "Donna Martin graduates" totally made me think of Greek, so that made me happy. I really want more of Kelly and Brenda (and Ryan) and and maybe some of the old gang, since I still love them infinitely more than the new generation. I would probably kill to have Derek Reese David Silver make an appearance.
