90210: 1-5 Wide Awake And Dreaming
Silver and Dixon were pretty awesome in this episode. I'm with Dixon - I like bossy!Silver a lot.
I like Ty, and I actually like Ty/Annie, even though I don't really care about Annie otherwise. Still their storyline was way predictable, though I was glad to see that he didn't actually sleep with Adrianna (although, in that case, where was he?). I don't like Ethan/Annie at all, even though I know that's where the show is going.
I still wish there was more Ryan and Kelly and Brenda, because the adults are far more interesting to me than the kids. Right now, the show just feels more "generic teen show" than anything else, and I'm hoping it finds its own style soon.
Privileged: 1-3 All About What You Really, Really Want
Yay, fun new guy! I totally approve of Megan/Jacob, even though Megan/Charlie is obviously OTP. I was glad to see Sage coming through for Rose in the end; I know she loves her sister a lot, but it was nice to see her recognising that something was obviously important to Rose even though it might not be important to her. I don't really care about Will because he is stupid, but I'd really like to see Megan and Lily take some strides towards making up. (And why do I keep thinking that Charlie/Lily is going to be a thing in the future?)
Also, I ♥ Marco; I know he's a secondary character, but I would really love for him to be something other than the token gay chef who gives Megan advice on her love life. Like, maybe have an actual storyline or two? Anyway, I like it when he's on my screen. I could definitely live with seeing a lot more Charlie and Marco and a lot less Sage and Rose, even though I know that's not really what the show is about.
Greek: 2-5 Pledge Allegiance
Max and Casey continue to be incredibly cute, especially in their last scene together. I'm glad they're not dwelling on the angst, because they're way more adorable when they're happy.
Even though I still ship Calvin/Heath, Calvin and Michael were really great together this episode, so I hope they stay together for a little while longer. Frannie and Evan, I think, really bring out the worst in each other - Evan bribing/blackmailing Michael into passing O'Toole was really crappy, and while I understand Michael giving in, I hate that he obviously feels so bad about it. And Frannie is back to her mega-bitch ways, which, while it is entertaining, I hate that she and Casey are enemies again. I loved that we got more backstory on their friendship in the second half of season one, and it's painful to see them competing so harshly when I really wanted them to make up. Also, her calling Casey on her relationship with Cappie during "I never" was way harsh. I do love that Casey and Rebecca are, if not friends, at least getting along, and I love Rebecca's distinction between her personal and political alliances - there's no love lost between her and Frannie, but I can easily see her separating her allies from her friends.
The Kappa Tau pledge prank was entertaining enough, but Rusty is far from my favourite character in the house, so I'm not overly invested in his storylines. Beaver was very cute, though, and Cappie was awesome, as always.
