Ahhh there needs to be more well-written Veronica/Lamb like this around!
I like how you kept up their banter. Some V/M stuff has them melting into puddles of goo for each other which just would not happen. But you kept your dialogue true to them.
I love Lamb's thoughts/way of viewing things here - always admitting Veronica's superiority.
Like "He kisses her afterwards, hard, to make up for it, but she smiles against his mouth like she heard anyway, which, of course she did. She's Veronica Mars." and "She doesn't react at all, which takes him aback a little, because he knows she must have noticed. Not a lot gets past her, and he knows he isn't that smooth." and other lines like that.
I couldn't help liking that he's kept the "Veronica Mars is Smarter Than Me" bill all this time, because that was always one of my favorite parts.
