Yeah, they're a tricky pair, but I think they did have some genuine chemistry on the show that "justifies" bringing the two together in fic. I mean, it's not like Veronica is entirely opposed to assy behavior in her men. :D One might say that's even her type. (And I say that as a Logan fan.) And when it's done well, it's so much fun.

I feel that way about all depressing fic. I can stomach all kinds of angst, just as long as the ending isn't a wristslasher.
