Boomer! My Boomer! I just ... I want to have words to say how absolutely delighted I am by this episode, but I can't. Because, Boomer! There were three things I wanted for season 4.5: More Helo/Athena, which I'm sure I will get, if only in limited doses; President Lee, which I did get, in some form; but most of all, the one thing I really wanted, was Boomer. Because of everyone who's been screwed over by this show, I truly believe she was shafted the most, and what I really, really wanted was some sort of vindication for her. Initially, I wanted an apology - from Tyrol, from Tigh - but this is so much better than anything I hoped for. Because Boomer reclaiming her own destiny, and frak everyone else, is just ... ♥

BOOMER > EVERYONE

I never really shipped Tyrol/Boomer (mostly, I ship Helo/the entire production line), but I really, really believe he still loves her. As much as I hated Tyrol's 'frak Callie' speech to Adama earlier this season, what I did love about it was the implication that a) he still loves Boomer, and b) he's sorry about the way he treated her way back when. And the editing, when Boomer asked, "Who would I want to love?" and they cut to Tyrol, was so not accidental. And I am so hoping for - and anticipating - a reunion between them. Because now I ship them. And because, I WANT MY BOOMER BACK. And if giving her Tyrol helps that, then I hope she gets him.

And, yes, I know there are five more episodes to go, and things could go south from here, and the show could disappoint me. But I choose to believe otherwise.

Also ... other stuff happened? Maybe? I was very busy squeeing over Boomer. But, Kara loves Sam! This is also happymaking.
