We're all in this together
My Alex the Vampire Slayer
apocabigbang fic is plotted, yay! It will ... probably end up being significantly longer than the 10,000 word minimum, but that's okay; I still have three months to write it, after all. And I'm totally excited about it, which is awesome. Now if only the Disney RPF fic would come as easily.
In other news, Greek had its mid-season finale last night, and I'm going to miss it so much. But, thoughts on the episode:
Greek: 1-10 Friend Or Foe
Oh, Cappie and Evan! Their break-up scene made me so heart-clenchy, but in a good way. I'm sad that the OT3 is breaking up before it really had a chance to exist, but not surprised, especially given the way Evan is SO TOTALLY LYING about not being into Casey again/any more. But I am glad that his and Cappie's fall out had nothing to do, directly, with Casey; grounding it in their house rivalry makes it much more believable, and less frustrating, to me. And that was seriously a dick move by Omega Chi, but again, not that surprising, and I understand why Evan went along with it (and I loved the way he saved Cappie, even if it didn't do their relationship any good in the long run).
Speaking of which: Wade! Oh, no! I was sad enough about losing Heath to stupid graduation (and yet, predictably, it hasn't entirely crushed my hopes for some sort of Calvin/Heath reunion down the line; they were just the cutest, even if Grant was significantly less douchey this episode), but Wade, too? And some other guys, who I care less about. Damn, if he's really gone now, I'm going to miss him. (At least I still have Beaver? Oh, Beaver, and his cricket ♥)
Now, ZBZ! I really hope the whole 'oops, we accidentally burned down the Gamma Psi house' plot doesn't get too heavy and overdramatic, but I'm not super worried about that; Greek usually does right by me, so I trust the show like I trust few others. Still ... um, oops? Oh, Rebecca. I'm glad that Katherine wasn't actually Frannie redux, because I do like her, in her own odd sort of way, and I like that she challenges Casey, because I think she makes Casey strive harder to do the things she wants to do. (The rest of Gamma Psi, though, can go jump.)
Also, how much did I love the insane High School Musical shout outs in this episode? A WHOLE LOT, THAT'S HOW MUCH. "I choreographed three of my high school musicals. The third one was our senior year." I'll even forgive the fact that Kelsi was actually the composer, not the choreographer, because while Ryan might look really good in pink, he probably still wouldn't be allowed to rush Zeta Beta Zeta. And because WE'RE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER.
I've decided that if Cappie/Casey was going to happen, which was inevitable, I'm glad it happened early, because, yay, this way we actually get to see them together. And they were adorable, especially Cappie cheering for Casey and the ZBZs. And Beaver and Rebecca should totally date, Cappie and Beaver's girlfriends could reenact lesbian movies, I'm just saying. But, okay, I am also totally on board with Evan/Rebecca, except for the bit where he may be kind of using her to get over Casey. But, they could be awesome! They should be awesome.
And now we have to wait until January for new episodes, which sucks. (Though chances I'll rewatch the series before then are probably high, ngl.)
