You will never live it down unless you whip it
SO. I AM TOTALLY BEHIND HERE, AND I'M SURE THIS WILL SURPRISE ABSOLUTELY NO-ONE, BUT HOW MUCH DO I LOVE WHIP IT? SO FREAKING MUCH ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ OMG CUTE GIRLS HITTING THINGS AND BEING RIDICULOUSLY GAY IN ROLLERSKATES, COULD THIS MOVIE BE ANY MORE PERFECT?
Why are there no Whip It vids, universe? This is obviously a wrong that must be corrected. And now I kind of want a Disney RPF/Whip It fusion WHERE DEMI AND SELENA JOIN ROLLER DERBY, COME ON, IT WOULD BE AWESOME. I also think there should be a Zac/Vanessa Back to the Future AU, IDEK. But Zac Efron kind of reminds me of a young Michael J Fox, so, clearly it should be a thing.
Also, in things that aren't related but sound like they are, I really think somebody should vid Psych to Whip It (the song). Devo is still cool, right?
Anyway, I spent all weekend copying everything on my computer to an eternal HD, erasing my hard drive, and installing a new operating system. (Before that, I was running Tiger, which. New software wouldn't run on my computer! So this is much better.) And then reinstalling everything. Which took a long time, but I ended up with, like 20GB of extra space on my hard drive, so I'm not complaining.
And I watched Brothers & Sisters, which - apparently Joe Jonas was supposed to be on the show? Which I didn't even know until it felt through, but LOLZ. HE WAS SUPPOSED TO PLAY YOUNG TOMMY. I COULD HAVE SEEN JOE JONAS ACTING LIKE A DOUCHEBAG. I MEAN, WHERE ELSE AM I SUPPOSED TO SEE THAT? I ... am kind of disappointed? But, whatever, the kid they cast instead kind of looks freakishly like Balthazar Getty, so I guess I'll forgive them.
I really miss when Justin and Rebecca were related, though. I mean, yay, my OTP is getting married and having a baby and ~whatever, but, I'm just saying. I liked them better when Justin was freaking out because he wanted to nail the girl he thought was his sister. And I'm a few episodes behind, so I'm sure it's happened already, whatever, but if I get up to when they actually get married and nobody tells the 'how they met' story? I'm going to be seriously disappointed.
(Also, the last episode I watched did nothing to not make me want that Kevin/Scotty/Julia OT3 fic with nonstandard families and confusing ~feelings. I'm probably alone in that.)
