Thank you so much for writing me a fic! I'm sure it's going to be amazing, and I'm so looking forward to reading it. My requests are a little on the wordy side, but please don't let that intimidate you - if my optional details don't work for you, or if you already have an idea in mind, I'd much rather get a great story you're really excited about than something mediocre tailored exactly to my requests. But just in case you enjoy reading yuletide letters as much as I enjoy writing them, here are some ideas/extra information/things that would make me especially happy.
I love banter, unresolved (and resolved) sexual tension, romantic comedy, awesome plots, action/adventure, wacky hijinks, humour, crack, PWPs, apocafic, and ridiculous AUs. In general, I'm not super into angst. I really, really, love tropes and clichés, which I know is unhelpfully vague, but: If you're ever wondering, does she want fic with pretending to be a couple/forced proximity/sharing a bed/bachelor auction/truth or dare/accidental makeouts/insert ridiculous cliché here, the answer is yes, yes I do. I love first times, and secret relationships, and casual hookups, and ex-girlfriends and boyfriends, and rekindling old relationships. I love people being in love without having to say it; and people who are obviously in love but maybe don't realise it; and ridiculously overblown romantic gestures where one person completely embarrasses themselves, because that's kind of the point of the grand gesture; and tiny, unnoticeable gestures that mean a whole lot more than they seem to. The stuff I don't love pretty much boils down to making the characters I love unhappy for no good reason. And character bashing, even of characters I don't like. I'm happy to read any rating, and smut is welcome but absolutely not necessary.
Batgirl (Comic) (Stephanie Brown)
Stephanie Brown is the comics character of my heart, and basically what I want is anything about her ever. I have a strong preference for Batgirl-era Steph, though if you wanted to go way back and write Robin!Steph, I would be totally cool with that, as long as there's none of the part where everybody tells her she sucks and then Batman fires her. I love, love Batgirl!Steph, though, and what I would love most of all is more of that - the series ended far too soon, and there are so many adventures I would still love to see her have (anything from the end of the last issue would be amazing to read about, as would anything you can come up with on your own). I'm also totally cool with AUs and/or crossovers with other DC properties - what about the universe where Steph is a Green Lantern? The one where she's Nightwing? Where she's part of a team who love her and aren't jerks? Really, I just want lots and lots of Steph, so write anything about her at all and you can't possibly go wrong.
COMICS CHARACTER OF MY HEART <3 <3 <3. I love everything about her, from her self-deprecating sense of humour to her constant struggle with gravity to the way she's still atoning for the past to her love of waffles. And I really, really love the way she finally grows into herself as a hero as Batgirl and has the confidence to own the mantle, even if she's not perfect and knows she still has a lot to learn. BUT SERIOUSLY SHE IS SO GREAT, AND I WANT ANYTHING WHERE SHE IS GREAT.
Also, please feel free to bring in as many supporting characters from various places as you'd like - if it's got Steph in it, I've read it. Within Batgirl canon, I really enjoyed her flirtation with Gage, so if you'd like to write something about that (especially if you changed the way it ended), I would eat that up. I was less fond of the whole love triangle part, so downplaying or flat out ignoring that as much as possible would be nice. I also really - surprisingly - loved her relationship with Damian; I love the way she mocks him and teases him and encourages him to actually be a kid and is basically the best-slash-most annoying big sister ever, and the way he pretends to hate it but deep, deep, deep down you know he really doesn't, so something between those two would be awesome also (though if you do go that route, I really don't ship them, so please keep it gen). Or Kara could come back and they could fight awesome crime together awesomely, and then maybe have pillow fights. Or whatever.
As far as other pairings go, I am really, really into Dick/Steph, so, I mean, if you wanted to write that, I would just have HEARTS IN MY EYES, nbd. Like maybe they ran into each other again/teamed up together while he was Batman? Or after he went back to being Nightwing - if you want to pretend the cancellation and/or reboot never happened and Steph is still totally Batgirl, I will live with you in that universe. Or maybe just pick any trope ever out of a hat and write that, I bet that would be awesome. I could also be totally into Bruce/Steph in a dirtybadwrong d/s kind of way if that is at all your thing; if it isn't, I would also be really, really into some Bruce&Steph genfic, because I always loved the few times they teamed up in canon, and because I really just want him to approve of and be nice to her and not be a complete jerk, which is unfortunately asking a lot sometimes. And if you wanted to write a fic where Steph teams up with pretty much any other DC character - especially if you wanted to throw her into a team - that would be amazing. As will anything you end up writing.
If you're interested in looking it up: As far as superhero comics go, this one is really easy to get into. It's a single title, closed canon, and only 24 issues long. It's available in three trade paperback volumes, and probably digitally also.
Wizards Of Waverly Place (Justin Russo/Alex Russo)
I would really love Justin/Alex shippy fic for this, but if incest squicks you, I totally understand; Justin and Alex genfic, or ensemble fic, would be just as welcome. I love the show a lot, so something in that vein, with humour and implausible situations and wacky magical hijinks, would be fantastic, but I'd also love any kind of fic, from action/adventure quests to cracky AU to angsty apocafic. I love the extended cast, so fic featuring some of them would be all kinds of awesome (and I particularly love Max, who I find ridiculously endearing at all times). And more than anything, I love the relationship between Justin and Alex, whether in a regular sibling-y way or not, and I love them being at the centre of each other's worlds, even if they'd never admit it.
Okay, so the thing is, I love Justin/Alex, in a shippy way, a lot, but maybe even more than that, I love their family dynamic. So, even if you pair them up - which I am obviously not at all opposed to - I'd rather you not mess with that too much; more than anything, if you can manage it, I love fics where they're just Justin and Alex, the same way they always are, only sometimes they make out a little. If you're not writing Justin/Alex, I'd rather receive genfic than fic that focuses on other pairings; while I have nothing against the canon pairings, and even really like some of them, they're not really what I want to read about. I'd particularly love anything set during the series' ongoing run, or before/during/after the movie; I'm not overly interested in fic set way in the future (slightly post-series is fine), but if that's what you want to write, go for it. And I'm not at all opposed to crack, or to the generous overuse of tropes and clichés, but serious fic is cool, too.
Some (but by no means all) of my favourite things: Justin and Alex at WizTech, Justin and Alex on epic adventures together, Justin and Alex saving (or maybe accidentally destroying) the world, Justin and/or Alex screwing something up and having to fix it together, Justin and Alex being thrown together for any reason at all.
Also, okay, I have not actually watched the series finale yet (though I super promise I will have by the end of the year), but please don't feel constrained by it; if you want to write fic where something totally different happens, for whatever reason, please do - maybe Max wins and Justin and Alex really do start that band (and I know it's been done, but it's possibly my favourite storyline for them ever, so I would actually love this); maybe Justin wins, or Alex does, or maybe they all get to keep their powers, maybe they overthrow the whole wizarding world, maybe it's totally a non-issue, or, hey, maybe your fic is set pre-competition and you don't have to worry about it at all. Basically, do whatever you want, I will love it.
If you're interested in looking it up: It aired over four seasons on the Disney Channel from 2007-2012, as well as a straight to DVD movie in 2009, so there's a fair bit of canon to catch up with. The good news is that a) it's closed canon, b) it's fairly easy to watch, and c) if you want a shortcut, just watch the movie. Seriously, I would be super happy with movie fic, and it tells you pretty much everything you need to know about the characters and their relationship. Only the first season and the film are out on DVD as far as I know, but the entire series is readily available digitally.
Hart of Dixie (Wade Kinsella/Zoe Hart)
Wade and Zoe. I started shipping it when they made out in Wade's car, because that was pretty much perfect, and that's what I'd love from this - basically, makeouts. Makeouts in Wade's car, in the trailer, in Zoe's room, at the bar, at her office, in the pond, literally rolling in the hay - just, all the makeouts. Things other than makeouts are good too, including but not limited to: That time Wade pretended to be Zoe's boyfriend, that time there was a heat wave and they almost had sex and then she went skinny dipping, that time she deliberately blew out the fuse as code for sex, that time they actually had sex and it was the best life decision ever, all the times Wade looks like he really wants to kiss her, all the times he's there for her without her even noticing, and all the times he looks at her like he has genuine ~feelings here and she's completely oblivious. Maybe there's a way to make her less oblivious?
ALL THE MAKEOUTS.
Okay, on the off-chance that isn't actually helpful: I wasn't expecting to ship this, and then I did, pretty much the first time they interacted. And I really wasn't expecting to seriously ship it, and then Zoe got drunk on boxed wine and there were makeouts, and I was hooked. What drew me to the pairing was the way he immediately called her out on her crap, which is a thing I think she needs sometimes. I also like the way he's a genuinely decent guy, and the way he's totally more into her than she is into him, even if he won't admit it (even to himself). I ALSO REALLY LIKE ALL THE TIMES THEY (ACTUALLY OR ALMOST) HOOK UP, ANYTHING WITH MORE OF THAT WOULD BE A+++.
I really, really love all the things this show could be (which, in my ideal reality, is 90% Gilmore Girls, 10% Everwood), and I'd love fic that fleshes that out a little more, if you're that way inclined - more eccentric townies, small town customs, wacky hijinks, and maybe Zoe actually starting to settle into Bluebell. Supporting characters are great, so feel free to include whoever else you want (especially Lavon, who is the greatest); I'd prefer to steer clear of any of the serious love triangle stuff (though taking it in a more cracky/fluffy direction would be fine), but pretty much anything else would be awesome.
I know it can be tricky to write for an ongoing canon, but I'm not super worried about canon compliance. I'd be happy with something set during the current season, exploring Wade and Zoe's new dynamic, but I'd also love something set pre-season two, before they hooked up, or something canon-divergent of your choosing - really, I'm easy, so if that's something you're worried about, please don't.

Miss Match (Kate Fox)
I love this fandom, and I would love any kind of fic written for it - gen or shippy, drama, comedy, crack, crossover, AU, whatever. As far as pairings go, Adam/Kate is my favourite; I'd love to see fic where he keeps pursuing her, and where she (reluctantly) falls for him, but obviously that's just one of the many things I would love. (Other things I love: hanging out at the bar, Kate in matchmaking mode, first dates, blind dates, not-a-date dates, anything and everything where characters interact with each other. I'm fairly easy to please.) I also ship Michael/Kate and Nick/Victoria as well as Kate/Victoria (femslashy or as BFF), and if there are other ships you enjoy, go for it; the only thing I'm not really looking for in this fandom is boyslash. Anything in the style of the show is great, as is anything not in the style of the show; really, anything at all would be fantastic.
This is one of my favourite fandoms that nobody but me loves, so really, it would be pretty much impossible to go wrong writing fic for it. I once posted a fandom primer that mentions a bit about what I love about the show, which is, basically, all of the characters, all of the relationships, the fact that every episode contains its very own miniature romantic comedy, and, well, everything else. Basically, I just really love Miss Match a lot. Kate and Victoria are my absolute favourites, but really, I love every character (and just to clarify my request a little - I'm happy to read boyslash if you wanted to include Kate matchmaking original or crossover characters, but I'm not interested in reading it in regard to the canon characters). I'd particularly love anything in the style of the show - that is to say, something romantic comedy-ish - but I'd be just as happy to read something plotty, or dramatic, or smutty, or anything else you could possibly write. Episode-style fic where Kate tries to match up a couple or two? Post-series fic where Kate chooses between Adam and Michael - or doesn't? Smutty missing scene between Nick and Victoria? Plotty court case? Complicated love triangle? Snarky genfic? Something else, featuring any of the characters mentioned above? It's all good! (And please don't feel like you *have* to include Kate if you end up going that route, though you're obviously welcome to.)
Crossovers are more than welcome here (though, ideally, I'd prefer it were with a fandom I'm familiar with - you can check my profile, journal, or tag list, or ask the mods to pass along a question if you're unsure). The Clueless fan in me would particularly love a crossover with Franklin & Bash (maybe Kate and Jared went to high school together??? and/or they meet on a divorce case?), and I've always really wanted a Psych crossover where blah blah blah legal stuff, and maybe Kate sets up Gus with ALL THE LADIES (or possibly with Shawn). Obviously those are really specific examples and I don't expect you to write them; I feel like a lot of shows, especially ones that are somehow about the law (or matchmaking), could make a good fit. Please do keep the focus on Miss Match, though, and not on the other fandom(s).
