Dear femslashex author:

Thank you so much for making me something! I'm sure I'll love whatever you end up creating, but in general: I love ensemble fics, banter, makeouts, unresolved (and resolved) sexual tension, romantic comedy, action/adventure, wacky hijinks, humour, crack, PWPs, apocafic, and ridiculous AUs. I'm not super into angst, and I prefer fics where characters interact with people and do things over introspective character studies. I really, really, love tropes and clichés, and totally ridiculous, over the top plots, the more shameless the better. I love first times, and secret relationships, and casual hookups, and partners, and ex-girlfriends and boyfriends, and rekindling old relationships. I love people being in love without having to say it, and people who are obviously in love but maybe don't realise it, and ridiculously overblown romantic gestures where one person completely embarrasses themselves, and small gestures that mean a whole lot more than they seem to. Most of all, I love characters who are genuinely really into each other. I'm happy to read any rating, and smut is welcome but absolutely not necessary, though I would prefer having the characters actually hook up in some way in the story (makeouts = <3).


Marvel 616 (Karolina Dean/Xavin, Karolina Dean/Nico Minoru, Karolina Dean/Julie Power)

As far as Xavin/Karolina goes. I would love, love the story of How Karolina And Xavin Fell In Love. The first time we see them after leaving Earth, they're already in love and about to get married - I want to see how they got from an intergalactic arranged betrothal to actually falling in love. Bonus points if it includes awesome alien space adventures. I'd also love anything about them during or after the Runaways run, with the rest of the cast or not.

I shipped Nico/Karolina since the first issue, and even though it was pretty firmly shot down in canon, I'd love something where they actually hook up. Friendly makeouts? One-time hookup? Party games gone a little further than they expected? Nico changes her mind about not being into girls? Undercover gay? I'm fine with casual hookups for this rather than a serious relationship, but I'd rather something that's not just about Karolina pining unrequitedly.

I'd love something set post-Runaways series with Julie and Karolina (or hooking up that one time they fought). What's it like when they start dating? How do the team dynamics change with Julie in the mix? I'd love to see more Runaways adventures with Julie on board, or a Molly Has Two Moms fic, or something about them looking for Chase and Nico after they go missing 'run away together'.

AUs are totally welcome - want to explore one of the 'What If?' scenarios, or write your own? Diverge from canon at some point? Write the fic where they're all college students or camp counsellors or a spaceship crew or something equally cracky? I would totally read that!


Actor RPF (Demi Lovato/Selena Gomez, Chelsea Staub/Nicole Anderson)

If you're writing Demi/Selena, I have a soft spot for their original friendship, when they were all happy and BFF. Filming Princess Protection Program! Guest starring on ALL THE DISNEY SHOWS! Disney's Friends For Change! (If you wrote me Friends For Change fic, I would probably have to marry you.) I'd also love something set in the present day or whenever (btw my unshakeable head canon is that Remember December and Don't Forget were written about Selena, jsyk).

I'd pretty much love anything about Chelsea and Nicole - filming JONAS, or that time they celebrated David Henrie's birthday in Mexico, or being adorable hipsters and hanging out backstage with bands, whatever. There's also a fabulous Nicole Anderson primer that includes quite a bit of Chelsea/Nicole, for the curious.

I'd also be totally on board with something that included all four girls, WHATEVER, IF YOU WANT TO PRETEND IT'S STILL 2009 I WILL PRETEND THAT WITH YOU. And I'm 1000% okay with cracky AUs where they're all spies or assassins or high school students or anything else ever. Including any other Disney Channel people is optional but totally welcome.


Sonny With a Chance (Sonny Munroe/Tawni Hart, Sonny Munroe/Selena Gomez)

Things I love about this show: That time Sonny and Tawni went to Glendovia. That time they all had a walkathon and Tawni's jeans put everybody in the hospital. That time they went to the retirement home and Tawni totally acknowledged that she and Sonny are going to grow old together. The check it out girls. The weird alternate universe where Selena Gomez starred in Camp Rock Hip Hop. Nico and Grady. Chad Dylan Cooper and his stupid-ass face. MACKENZIE FALLS.

I love Sonny and Tawni's friendship-slash-rivalry, and the way Tawni tries to pretend pretend she and Sonny aren't best friends but they actually totally are, and the way even the show acknowledges they're going to be together forever. I'd love something roughly in the same tone as the show itself, with humour and wacky hijinks and implausible situations, and as many of the other characters as you choose to use (or not). Dressing room hook-ups? A new ~romantic sketch? Going as each others' dates to a public event? The paparazzi mistakenly announces that Sonny and Tawni are an item and Tawni decides to roll with it for the publicity?

I'd also love to see Sonny hooking up with Selena Gomez, for obvious reasons. Maybe Selena gets a guest spot on Mackenzie Falls? An appearance on So Random? Does Sonny get a backstage pass to Camp Hip Hop 2? Or maybe something where Selena keeps "pushing Sonny's buttons" while she's shadowing her for Chad's biopic? Or where Selena actually is a wizard?


Princess Protection Program (Carter Mason/Rosie Gonzalez, Carter Mason/OFC)

aka. The Demi/Selena AU Where Demi Is A Princess And Selena Is A High School Student And Then They Fall In Love. Or, that's pretty much the movie I was watching, anyway. Really anything would be awesome, set during the movie or afterwards, and I don't mind whether or not you choose to use the last scene where they join D.E.B.S. the Princess Protection Program. But, if you wanted to write about them rescuing princesses together and maybe Rosie sometimes gets a little jealous because, hello, she knows Carter's type, I would be completely okay with that.

I'd also love to see Carter hooking up with an original character - a princess would be my preference (maybe on assignment with the PPP? Or for ~undercover purposes?), but if you wanted to send her off to college and try to balance being a PPP agent with having a normal life, that'd be awesome, too.

Or, as a TOTALLY OPTIONAL option, I'd love to see a crossover between Princess Protection Program and Wizards of Waverly Place. Like if, instead of going to Louisiana, Rosie is sent to stay with the Russos in New York, and Alex totally doesn't get why she has to put up with this princessy chick, ugh. (Only then it turns out she's not so bad. And then makeouts? Magically-induced fairy tale plots optional.)


Once Upon a Time (Aurora/Mulan)

I initially fell in love with these two via the power of gifsets, and they did not lie about how amazing this ship is. Loyalty kink? Check. Femslashy princess crossover? Badass lady warrior? Quests? Obsession with each others' safety? Mulan literally entering Aurora while having her heart in her hands? Check, check, check, check, and check! I'd love to see absolutely anything between them, with bonus points for having them go on awesome adventures, whether that's off-screen questing or speculative season three fic or something else entirely. I'd also be totally on board with a canon-based AU, though I do love this particular interpretation of the characters, so I'd prefer not to have a total AU.
