Politics yay

Kevin Rudd's approval rating is at 73%.

Opposition Leader Brendan Nelson's approval rating is at 9%.

(Incidentally, that isn't his lowest approval rating ever.)

This makes me very happy.

Hahaha, you watching the news too? :D

And I totally took part in that newspoll! :D I said that Rudd was my preferred PM, but that I was happy with the job that Nelson was doing. He's trying his best at a seriously tough gig. LOL.

Peace,
Rotae

Ha, yep! And ... it's not very useful of me, but I don't think I'll ever approve of Nelson, no matter how hard his job is, because he's a douche. So I guess I can hold a grudge.

Also, your icon is a thing of brilliance.

Well, I look at it like this: I'm never going to like his policies because they're Liberal Party policies. I'm never going to like anything he says, because he's the voice of the Liberal Party. And he's leading the Liberal Party the way I like... i.e. into the ground. LOL XDDDDD

So I definitely approve of him leading the Liberals XDDDDD

Hahaha, thank you! I do like it :D I still wish I'd just listened to Rudd's speech and turned the TV off. LOL. But the icon was worth it. XD

Peace,
Rotae

That is an excellent way of looking at things :D

Would this Nelson be John Howard's follow-up?

Yep, he is. He used to be the Education Minister, which is mostly where my dislike of him springs from; he was responsible for introducing Voluntary Student Unionism, among other things, which, IMO, was one of the worst things to happen to university education in this country, like, ever.
