Bryce! I was so excited to see him at the end of the episode - I know a lot of people on my flist hate him, but he's one of my favourite characters.
I don't hate Bryce... I just don't get the Bryce love. He was incredibly fun in the Berkley flashbacks, but I don't feel like he's been anything beyond a plot device since then.
I cannot begin to articulate the levels of DO NOT WANT in Meredith's storyline. I've had enough skeevy sexual situations (and metaphors for skeevy sexual situations) for my female characters to last me a really long time, so I really want to see her get out of this, like, yesterday.
All the doubt everyone else is having is making me doubt. I was SO convinced that this plot was going to be Claire and Sandra and Meredith kicking Doyle's ass and getting away from him completely under their own power -- and that's one of the reasons it didn't ping me as being a bad plot. Bad situations=opportunities to kick ass. But now I'm worried. :/
