Honestly, it was creepier to me because it didn't seem sexual at all to me. It was a grown man playing with dolls like a child, seeing people as playthings. Which isn't the same thing at all, in my mind, as a grown man objectifiying a woman and slavering all over her. There's obviously the domineering personality in both, but one is misogynist by nature, and one isn't.
