Thank you so much for writing fic for me! I'm really excited about all my requests, so whatever you end up writing, I'm sure I'll love. There's quite a bit of detail in my requests, but in case you'd like to know more, there's a letter (and some virtual milk and cookies) behind the cut.
In general, I love banter, unresolved sexual tension (and resolved sexual tension), romantic comedy, action/adventure, fluff, crack, humour, AUs, apocalypse (or post-apocalypse) fic, female characters, het, gen, and femslash. I don't love character bashing or lots of angst. I prefer first times to established relationships (unless they're canon, obviously), though I also enjoy the dynamic between exes and the rekindling of old relationships.
Miss Match (Any)
I would be forever grateful for any fic written in this fandom - really! Gen, het, and femslash are all wonderful (I'm not so much into slash), and Kate and Victoria are my favourites; as far as ships go, I particularly love Adam/Kate, Michael/Kate, Kate/Victoria, and Nick/Victoria. Episode-style fic where Kate tries to match up a couple or two? Post-series fic where Kate chooses between Adam and Michael - or doesn't? Smutty missing scene between Nick and Victoria? Plotty court case? Complicated love triangle? Snarky genfic? Something else, featuring any of the characters mentioned above? It's all good, and I'd *love* to read it.
I posted a bit about Miss Match here a little while ago; while it was mostly geared towards people who may not have seen the show, that post mentions a bit about what I really love about it. Which is, basically, all of the characters - Kate is totally my girl, I have a huge crush on Victoria, and Adam, Michael, Nick, and Serena are all awesome - all of the relationships, the fact that every episode contains its very own miniature romantic comedy, and, well, everything else. Basically, I just really love Miss Match a lot. As far as I have an OTP, it would probably be Adam/Kate; I'd love to see fic where he keeps pursuing her, and where she (reluctantly) falls for him, but obviously that's just one of the many things I would love. (Other things I love: hanging out at the bar, Kate in matchmaking mode, first dates, blind dates, not-a-date dates, anything and everything where characters interact with each other. I'm fairly easy to please.) I also ship Michael/Kate and Nick/Victoria as well as Kate/Victoria (femslashy or as BFF), and if there are other ships you enjoy, go for it. Anything in the style of the show is great, as is anything not in the style of the show - if you have a particular idea in mind, feel free to run with it, and if you don't, hopefully I've suggested enough prompts to spark something.
Greek (Ashleigh/Cappie/Casey)
My Greek OTP is Cappie/Casey, so any fic centred around them would be awesome. If you're not into het, I'd also love gen or femslash - Ashleigh is a particular favourite of mine, as are Rebecca, Casey, Cappie, and Beaver. I would love fic focusing on any aspect of Greek life - particularly Zeta Beta Zeta, but involving Kappa Tau and/or Omega Chi would be great. Maybe some kind of Greek event - official or unofficial? Inter-house rivalry? Flashbacks to when they were pledges? A simple day in the life? As for background ships, I particularly love Calvin/Heath, have a strange fondness for Beaver/Rebecca, and would really prefer Rusty not be involved at all.
Greek is one of those shows that never fails to make me ridiculously happy, and I'm sure that any fic in this fandom would make me feel the same. I love pretty much all the characters - some more than others, maybe, but Ashleigh is pretty much the most awesome thing ever, and I love Casey (especially when she's happy, fun, romantically entangled Casey instead of oblivious, self-centred Casey) and Cappie and Beaver and Rebecca and Calvin and Heath (who are beyond adorable together) and Evan and, well, you get the picture. I love all the friendships in the show, and the relationships - especially Cappie/Casey - and all the Greek life stuff, with parties and mixers and rush and spring break and Greek Week and formals and rituals and politics, and in general I prefer it more when it's fun and upbeat and less when the characters are at each other's throats. As for specific prompts, I'd love fic about any kind of Greek event - if you could somehow manage to get Zeta Beta Zeta and Kappa Tau and Omega Chi all in there together, I would love you forever - or maybe post-Hell Week, with Frannie's new sorority; my dream fic would probably be an ensemble event fic with Cappie/Casey UST (or maybe RST) and heaps of Ashleigh, but I'd really be excited to read just about anything you can think of.
(Oh, and as for the last part of my prompt - sorry to any Rusty lovers out there! - I'm perfectly happy for Rusty to appear in the fic, but I'd rather he not be given a starring or romantic role.)
RPF - The Office US (B.J. Novak/Mindy Kaling)
What I would really, really love more than anything in this fandom is B.J./Mindy. On set, in the writers' room, hanging out - whatever works for you. I love them as friends (gen is fine if you can't manage shippy fic), as well as anything else you'd like to write - secretly dating? Sneaking off to make out between takes? Cute, bantery UST? B.J. pining for Mindy while kicking himself for imitating (someone else's) on-screen storyline? Ensemble fic with B.J. and Mindy as the focus? Basically, anything with these two would be completely awesome.
B.J./Mindy is my total Office RPF OTP, and like I said in the prompt, I would really adore anything at all with these two together. I like to think that they get along really well, but other than that, whatever you want to do with the fic is fine, from day-in-the-life behind the scenes stuff to fully overblown romantic comedy, or anything in between. (Actually, that full on romantic comedy thing sounds awesome. Maybe with the other cast members playing various crack/comedic/totally serious roles in the Epic Romance Of Awesome Between B.J. And Mindy? Okay, I realise that I'm totally predictable at this point.) The fic doesn't have to focus exclusively on B.J. and Mindy, and I'm happy for it to include any other cast members you want, in any kind of situation. Oh, and I really kind of love this exchange between them, with B.J.'s "I love you, Mindy," (with the pause! and the weird little inflection of his voice when he says it!) so if you wanted to do something with that, too, that's always an option.
Valentine (Danny/Phoebe)
I would love any fic with Danny and Phoebe - shippy fic preferred, but if you can't manage that, anything with them together would be awesome. Fic where they have to work together to get a couple together? Wacky, magical accident hijinks? Fic that flashes back and forth between their old and new lives? It would all be fantastic.
My interest in Valentine can pretty much be summed up by romantic comedy + matchmaking + Autumn Reeser + Greek mythology = awesome. So, naturally, Phoebe is my favourite character, and when it comes to fic, anything Danny/Phoebe (or Danny-and-Phoebe) would be excellent. This is also a fandom where I'd be completely happy with crack, cliché, and AUs (not that I wouldn't in any of my other fandoms). Magic or prophecy gone wrong, being forced to work together, Danny's gun, some kind of accident making them fall in love - or you could do something completely serious, maybe explore the consequences of the Oracle being messed with, or pick your favourite rom-com dynamic and do an episode-style fic. Snark, banter, UST, matchmaking, misunderstandings and confusion and resolution, hijinks of any kind whatsoever - like I said in the prompt, any fic at all with these two together would be awesome. I'd also be really interested in any fic that took the Greek mythology angle of the show and decided to run with it, in any form; character backstory, comparing and contrasting their new and old lives, or a complete AU. (Maybe the characters matchmaking back then? Something else entirely? Take an idea - any idea - and run with it, the crazier the better.)
