amathela | Don't wait up for me

I just posted the latest chapter of a fic that hasn't been updated since 2007. Weird.

This is only the third chaptered fic I've ever written, and only two of those were actually WIPs. I was writing What Goes Down faster than I could actually post it, and it ended up being finished in about three weeks; with Down Again, I wrote the entire thing before I started posting, and that only took about nine days. So this is definitely not my usual pace. But hooray for progress, anyway.

In the past week, I've finished

sabaceanbabe's birthday fic (so late - I ended up going through about four or five different ideas before I found one that would let me write it), my

remixthedrabble fics, and this. Take that, writer's block! I had to drop out of

thelittlebang and

boxofmagic, but suddenly the rest of my deadlines are looking very manageable (and they're all spaced neatly apart, which is cool).

Now I'm going to reward myself by watching Earth 2, and hopefully writing some fic for

oxoniensis' porn battle. Yay!
