Before I return to my regularly scheduled fic writing
So, apparently this fic is going to be even longer than the last one. I still remember when the longest fic I'd written was 3000 words.
A couple of TV reaction posts, because I do occasionally still pay attention to stuff that isn't Wizards of Waverly Place:
Glee: 1-4 Preggers
So, Puck/Quinn is now officially my OTP. I don't even know. Like, I guess I like Finn/Rachel okay? And I definitely kind of ship Will/Rachel (it's that whole Election vibe they have going, I can't help it). And I don't really care that much about Will/Emma, honestly. But, Puck! Quinn! I love them both, and I just ... yeah. Maybe I'm not getting out of this show exactly what I'm supposed to be getting out of it? But it does fill a nice high school teen drama-shaped hole in my viewing schedule.
(Also, I find Terri sympathetic, even if I'm not supposed to. And despite my general - former? - apathy towards Jane Lynch, I really do love her in this.)
Greek: 3-4 High And Dry
Oh, man, my propensity for reshipping is getting out of hand. Evan/Casey! At the end of last season/beginning of this season I was prepared to ship Evan/Rebecca quite heavily, but I can't say I'm not excited that they're doing the whole Evan/Casey(/Cappie) thing again. Like, on some shows (*cough* Smallville *cough*), continually dredging up dead and buried relationships can get annoying, but other times, it's just delightful! I really loved Evan/Casey the first time around (okay, so I tend to have a thing for "guy who is not the OTP" - see Nate/Blair), and I think maybe I love it even more now? They accidentally got high together! They pretended to be shoes! She didn't let him drink the shampoo! And I really love that he told her about dissuading Cappie from following her, and about him and Cappie being friends, and I just feel like ... gosh, I really want them to make a go of it this time around. And I know it won't work out, because Cappie/Casey is the OTP, and I ship that, too. But I at least want them to try?
And, oh, Fisher/Ashleigh! I know he's kind of (read: massively) a jerk for kissing Rebecca, but I can't help it, I'm a sucker for pursuit storylines. I do love that she didn't forgive him straight away, especially when she didn't forgive Rebecca, either. But mostly, I just really love Ashleigh having a major romantic storyline, because she is my favourite.
Greek is really consistently one of my favourite shows, and this season is not letting me down.
More briefly, and hopefully non-spoilery: Ryan and Esposito continue to be totally married on Castle (and possibly my all-time boyslash OTP? Like, I know I don't have a lot of those, but these guys, I ship them so very hard ♥). And I'm just going to assume that whenever Gwen and Morgana weren't onscreen in Merlin, they were off shagging like bunnies, y/y?
