THIS IS TRUFAX! NEVER HAS THERE BEEN A THRUTHIER ICON THAN THIS ONE. Seriously, though - Helo and Athena totally are the least dysfunctional couple in that fleet. Even considering that one time he shot her and felt kind of bad about it, and that other time he shot her and she died, and all that stuff about their daughter being the ~mystical saviour of two races, and, um, the whole Boomer thing. Oh, yeah, and the fact that she's part of a killer robot race he's supposed to be war with. BUT WHATEVER, IT'S NOT LIKE YOUR RELATIONSHIP IS PERFECT, RIGHT? Anyway, Helo and Athena are totally my BSG OTP, and I love the episode this icon came from (Unfinished Business) mostly because of how supremely adorable and weirdly non-dysfunctional these two are in it. FIGHTING AGATHONS FTW.
Riley/Buffy! Okay, I accept that I am, like, one of the four people in the universe who genuinely likes Riley. And one of maybe two people who likes Riley/Buffy. I'm not saying they're TRUE LOVE FOREVER OTP or anything like that, but - for what it is, I like their relationship. And I love Riley (and in the spirit of liking unpopular BtVs characters: also Kennedy ♥), and I think he and Buffy were kind of adorable together. He thinks she's peculiar! She likes cheese! And the scene where he tells Xander she doesn't love him kills me a little every time, and his return to Sunnydale with his awesome wife in tow kills me a little more, and - whatever, haters to the left. Riley is cool.
OMG THESE TWO THEY BREAK MY HEART. This icon is from a much happier time, ie. when Demi and Selena were still BFF4EVA, and - in my head, this is the way they will always be. (And in the spirit of full disclosure: I ship Demi/Selena an awful lot - they're my favourite Disney RPF pairing - but I care about them being friends maybe even more than that. WHATEVER, IT IS NOT CREEPY, THEY ARE BOTH 18 NOW, I AM JUST A LITTLE BIT OVERINVESTED.)
Amy Pond! ♥ Unlike various segments of fandom, I love Rose, Martha, and Donna, but I could never really decide which one was my favourite - until Amy came along and made it easy for me. I love all the new seasons of Doctor Who, but season five has definitely been my favourite, and I can't wait until it comes back (Christmas special, yay)!
AHAHA OMG, THIS ICON. So this is pretty much a TOTALLY ACCURATE REPRESENTATION OF HEROES, at least in my head. Later seasons of the show pretty much killed my love for it, but I will still always love Nathan, HE IS NOT DEAD LALALALA I CAN'T HEAR YOU.
Okay, so, interestingly, this episode (An Echolls Family Christmas) was the first episode of Veroica Mars I ever saw. And - I didn't like it? I blame the fact that I caught it totally by accident, and that the only thing I knew about the show at that stage was that Paris Hilton was in it, and that kind of clouded my feelings on the whole matter. BUT, then I finally gave in and watched the show from the start, and I fell totally in love ♥. AND THIS EPISODE IS ACTUALLY ONE OF MY FAVOURITES EVER, WHO KNEW.
Also, I keep meaning to post and then not really having anything to say (stupid real life, why are you so boring and full of school?), so:
Ask me my Top Five Whatevers. Fannish or literary or otherwise. Any top fives. Doesn't matter what, really! Fandoms, ice cream flavours, cartoon moments, women in my fandoms, OTPs, ideal holiday destinations, goals for the future, celebrity crushes, books I wish would be made into movies, love songs.
