THINGS I AM REALLY INTO RIGHT NOW: ROOKIE BLUE.

crackers4jenn 100%, I had no interest in the show at all until she started flailing about it. And I thought, okay, I am always in the mood for a new ship, what could it hurt?
THINGS I DID NOT KNOW ABOUT ROOKIE BLUE: IT HAS WHITNEY FROM SMALLVILLE, I LOVE THAT GUY, NO LIE. AND THE DUCHESS FROM ALICE (♥ ♥) AND EPHRAM OMG, I TOTALLY DID NOT RECOGNIZE HIM FOR 3/4 OF THE PILOT EVEN THOUGH I SAW HIS NAME IN THE CREDITS. OOPS.
Basically it is Canadian in a way where it never actually says it is, which is slightly confusing because in the first few episodes it sounds like everyone's trying to be from Jersey? Or possibly New York, IDK, I am not actually great with North American accents, but now everybody just sounds really obviously Canadian and it is really great.
OKAY, SO, HERE ARE THE THINGS I LOVE:
JERRY/TRACI. I just really dig the way he is totally into her and just happens to never ever grow his facial hair back after she said she liked him clean-shaven and all the times they make out. NGL, I was expecting to be 100% into Sam/Andy, but then Jerry/Traci just sort of took me by surprise and became my OTP for this show. Whatever, no regrets.
GAIL <3. She is fierce and hardcore, I adore her. Also:
CHRIS/GAIL/DOV. True story: I totally called Chris/Gail way back in the pilot. (Which I watched, like, three days ago, whatever.) So I was super excited when it happened, but then - Dov and Gail started interacting also? And it was super great, and I started having ALL THE FEELINGS. And then I started thinking about what a great OT3 they could make, and then season two happened and proved me EXACTLY RIGHT YET AGAIN, AND - JUST. ALL THE FEELINGS. I would seriously watch a show that was nothing but scenes in their apartment.
OLIVER. He is seriously the best. And his relationship with Andy <3.
OBLIGATORY: I REALLY LIKE IT WHEN SAM AND ANDY MAKE OUT, IT IS SUPER HOT. But - I also really like Luke? (See: Whitney!) And I did really like Luke/Andy, sometimes I am just really bad at not shipping the Couple That Is Obviously Going To Break Up Soon To Make Way For The OTP. Except, I am spoiled for what happens in the last three episodes I haven't seen, so maybe not so much. Conflicted!
Also conflicted: Jo. In the first couple of episodes of the season I really loved her, and then there was the end of - episode four? Five? Which was actually pretty creepy, so IDK. I want to love her, she had some pretty great moments with Andy and Traci in those episodes.
