Thank you so much for writing me a fic! I'm sure it's going to be amazing, and I'm so looking forward to reading it. My requests are a little on the wordy side, but please don't let that intimidate you - if my optional details don't work for you, or if you already have an idea in mind, I'd much rather get a great story you're really excited about than something mediocre tailored exactly to my requests. But just in case you enjoy reading yuletide letters as much as I enjoy writing them, here are some ideas/extra information/things that would make me especially happy. (You can find me on AO3 as Zhailei.)

Favourite things in general:

Het, femslash, and gen.

Ensemble fics, banter, makeouts, unresolved (and resolved) sexual tension, romantic comedy, action/adventure, casefic, wacky hijinks, humour, crack, PWPs, apocafic, and ridiculous AUs.

Tropes and clichés - fake dating, forced proximity, trapped together, sharing a bed, accidental marriage, bachelor auctions, truth or dare, sex pollen, accidental stimulation, wall!sex, frottage, etc. The more shameless the better!

First times, secret relationships, casual hookups, ex-girlfriends and boyfriends, and rekindling old relationships.

People being in love without having to say it, people who are obviously in love but maybe don't realise it, ridiculously overblown romantic gestures where one person completely embarrasses themselves, and small gestures that mean a whole lot more than they seem to.

Characters who are genuinely really into each other.

Appearances by Gwen Stacy in any fandom <3 (And for anyone who's interested in Ultimate Comics Spider-Man: 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5.)

Any rating - smut is welcome but absolutely not necessary.

Things I'd prefer not to receive:

Angst, darkfic, and unhappy endings.

Introspective character studies, alternate POV on canon events, or other fics where nothing much actually happens.

First person POV.

Character bashing.

Issue fic.

Avalon High (Allie Pennington)

Okay, so: While I was watching this for the first time, I enjoyed it (mostly because of Britt Robertson's face, ngl), AND THEN THE ENDING HAPPENED AND IT WAS THE BEST THING EVER AND I FELL IN LOVE WITH THIS MOVIE 1000%. Basically this movie hit on some of my favourite tropes crazy hard (mythology adaptations! modern AUs! girls in armour!), and I really just want more of any of that.

Things I would particularly love:

Anything set post-movie. How does Allie deal with the revelation that she's actually King Arthur? Where does she go from here? I loved the last scene of the movie - the way the whole gang was together, the blending of their past and present identities - and I'd love anything that continues in that vein.

Past lives! If you wanted to write me Arthurian mythology fic where Allie is the king and Miles is her wizard, etc. I would be so on board with that! MORE GIRLS IN ARMOUR, basically. And swordfighting. (There doesn't have to be swordfighting. But I would definitely enjoy it if that's the sort of thing you would like to write.)

Identity porn. All the identity porn. Playing around with the characters' identities and histories would be seriously awesome, so go nuts with that.

Or you could introduce other characters from Arthurian myth! More knights of the round table! Morgan le Fay! The Lady of the Lake! And who was Will, after all?

Or cross the movie over with another Arthurian adaptation - I'd particularly love an Avalon High/Merlin crossover. Merlins being dorks together! Arthurs doing ... literally whatever you would like them to do! ~~Allie totally hooking up with Morgana!~~

ANYTHING ELSE EVER. This is true of all my requests, but seriously, feel free to go as trope-y as you like. Whatever you feel like writing, I will adore it!

Where can I find it?: Avalon High is a Disney Channel Original Movie that aired in 2010. It hasn't been released on DVD, but is available on Netflix or to download via iTunes, Amazon Instant Video, or here: 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6.

Miss Match (Kate Fox)

I love this fandom, and I would love any kind of fic written for it - gen or shippy, drama, comedy, crack, crossover, AU, whatever. I once posted a fandom primer that mentions a bit about what I love about the show, which is, basically, all of the characters, all of the relationships, the fact that every episode contains its very own miniature romantic comedy, and, well, everything else. (Also: hanging out at the bar, Kate in matchmaking mode, first dates, blind dates, not-a-date dates, anything and everything where characters interact with each other. I'm fairly easy to please.) I'd particularly love anything in the style of the show - that is to say, something romantic comedy-ish - but I'd be just as happy to read something plotty, or dramatic, or smutty, or anything else you could possibly write.

Things I would particularly love:

Post-series fic where Adam keeps pursuing Kate, and where she (reluctantly) falls for him. I just really loved this storyline, and I'd love to see it play out - especially if their relationships with Michael stay intact.

Nick/Victoria. Anything, anything involving Nick and Victoria. Hookups at the bar? Sexy roommates with benefits? Mutually being in denial about the fact they they're totally (still) dating? Yes, please!

Kate and Victoria, awesome BFFs! Or Kate and Victoria, awesomely hooking up.

Anything that reads vaguely like an episode of the show - feel free to make up your own couple(s) for Kate to matchmake, or a plotty court case for her to get involved in, or anything else you feel like writing.

Crossovers are also totally welcome, though I'd prefer fandoms I'm familiar with. The Clueless fan in me would particularly love a crossover with Franklin & Bash (maybe Kate and Jared went to high school together??? and/or they meet on a divorce case?), and I've always really wanted a Psych crossover where blah blah blah legal stuff, and maybe Kate sets up Gus with ALL THE LADIES (or possibly with Shawn). But feel free to use your imagination (as long as the primary focus stays on Miss Match).

Where can I find it? Miss Match ran for a single 18-episode season in 2003. It isn't available on DVD (to my everlasting disappointment), but the episodes can be acquired in the usual places online.

The Dark Knight Legacy (Web Series) (Stephanie Brown, John Blake)

I came out of The Dark Knight Rises really wanting John Blake and Stephanie Brown to meet. AND THEN SOMEBODY MADE THIS AND IT'S LIKE IT WAS JUST FOR ME. I love the concept of Blake being Nightwing instead of jumping straight into replacing Batman, and the introduction of Red Hood and Penguin, and Steph being a cop - and since we won't be getting a continuation of the series, I desperately want to see what happens next.

Things I would particularly love:

What led to Steph deciding to be a cop? Is her father still Cluemaster? What happens when she has to go up against him, or Gotham's other villains? Do she and Nightwing work together, or do they sometimes end up clashing?

How does Steph deal with the corruption running rampant in Gotham PD? I loved Dick Grayson: Cop in Nightwing, and Blake in The Dark Knight Rises, and I'd love to see Steph continuing that legacy.

That said, I'd also super love it if she decided to do the vigilante thing. Does Batman need a Robin? A Batgirl? Does he decide to take up the mantle of Batman and pass Nightwing onto her?

It seems like Blake knows Steph - has he served with her as a cop? Is he still leading a double life as a cop by day, vigilante by night? Were they in the academy together, or do they ever end up as partners?

I'd also love, love, love to see the introduction of more comics characters. Cass! Oracle! Black Canary! Literally anybody would be fantastic, and I'd love to see a different take on comics characters, or how they could fit into the Dark Knight universe.

The Dark Knight Legacy is a seven-minute short set following the events of The Dark Knight Rises, featuring John Blake as Nightwing and a number of characters drawn from the comics, including Stephanie Brown and Red Hood. Batgirl (Comics) (Stephanie Brown)

Stephanie Brown is the comics character of my heart, and basically what I want is anything about her ever. I love everything about her, from her self-deprecating sense of humour to her constant struggle with gravity to the way she's still atoning for the past to her love of waffles. And I really, really love the way she finally grows into herself as a hero as Batgirl and has the confidence to own the mantle, even if she's not perfect and knows she still has a lot to learn. BUT SERIOUSLY SHE IS SO GREAT, AND I WANT ANYTHING WHERE SHE IS GREAT.

Things I would particularly love:

The Continuing Adventures of Batgirl.

Team ups! Whether canonical or not, I'd love to see Steph interacting as part of a team - in particular, a team full of awesome people who like her and aren't jerks. Or teaming up with pretty much anyone else from the DC universe - you can check my comics tag for characters/titles I'm familiar with, though I have at least a passing familiarity with most of the post-crisis universe.

I've always thought Steph and Dick had a lot in common; I love reading pretty much anything where they interact, and Dick/Steph is the (not so) secret pairing of my heart. Did they run into each other again/teamed up together while he was Batman? Or after he went back to being Nightwing - if you want to pretend the cancellation and/or reboot never happened and Steph is still totally Batgirl, I will live with you in that universe.

Dirtybadwrong Bruce/Steph d/s fic. (I blame the schoolgirl outfit from Leviathan Strikes, honestly. Also that time Black Canary described kissing Batman as, "Kinda hot, really. Like kissing your principal while on detention.") Or Bruce&Steph genfic, because I always loved the few times they teamed up in canon, and because I really just want him to approve of and be nice to her and not be a complete jerk.

Or just more Leviathan Strikes fic! I want to live in the world where Steph is a super secret undercover spy in an all-girls boarding school that's actually a secret assassin training facility. (Honestly, who doesn't?)

I really enjoyed Steph's flirtation with Detective Gage in Batgirl, so anything about that, set during or post-Batgirl, would be amazing. I wasn't a fan of the love triangle aspect of it, though, so please ignore that part.

AUs! I want to read about the universe where Steph is a Green Lantern! Or the one where she's Nightwing. Or where the reboot never happened. Or where Steph still exists in the New 52. Or pretty much anything else! <3

Adorable domestic Batfamily shenanigans that include Cass and Steph.

I have a strong preference for Batgirl-era Steph, though I'm also a fan of her other appearances in comics. I'd love fic about Robin!Steph (as long as there's none of the part where everybody tells her she sucks and then Batman fires her), but I'd prefer fic that didn't focus on her time as Spoiler or her relationship with Tim Drake. I love, love Batgirl!Steph, though, and what I would love most of all is more of that - the series ended far too soon, and there are so many adventures I would still love to see her have.

Where can I find it? Batgirl ran for 24 issues from 2009-2001, and was cancelled as part of DC's New 52 reboot. The entire series is collected in three trade paperbacks, or available online. The Stephanie Brown masterpost contains links to all her comics appearances.

The Ravagers (Comics) (Rose Wilson)

Rose is another of my very favourite comics characters ever - I guess I have a thing for blondes with supervillain dads who nobody really believes can or should be superheroes. I love her attitude and her general badassery and the way she's combative and rage-y and sometimes struggles with being a superhero. I love how she flirts with basically everyone. I love how she started off as a bad guy trying to be her dad, and, yeah, sometimes she has a hard time not killing people. But she's trying. And, okay, so: I know Rose was super messed up and not really herself during the whole 'trying to be her dad' era, but HER EYE <3 <3 <3 I KNOW IT'S MESSED UP BUT IT'S POSSIBLY MY FAVOURITE THING ABOUT HER. Because she's a badass and she has a ridiculous family background and she's super messed up because of it, and all of that is so integral to who she is and I love every bit of it.

Things I would particularly love:

I'd love anything with the Teen Titans (or teaming up with Damian again, because they make such a fantastic team, adorable angry ex-assassins represent!). In particular, I also love the whole team in its various incarnations, so ensemble fic would be amazing also, as would pretty much anything where Rose fights crime or does anything ever.

I loved the Renegade arc in Nightwing when he was training her, and her super fun objectification of him (because, come on, Dick Grayson) and him inspiring her to question her father and be a better person. I'd love to read either anything from that timeframe, or a later reunion between them.

Or an AU - maybe a universe where Rose became Dick's ~~sidekick~~ partner? Where she never joined the Teen Titans, or ended up leading them? Where she's part of the Batfamily, or a member of an entirely different team?

I'd also love to read about Rose's time as part of the Terror Titans or the Ravagers. I found the Terror Titans really interesting, and thought the Ravagers premise had a lot of potential (including Thunder and Lightning and their ~~incestuous~~ co-dependent relationship), and I'd love to see either of those expanded on.

I loved Rose's budding friendship/relationship/whatever with Kon towards the end of Teen Titans, so if you wanted to explore more of that relationship (preferably with makeouts), or even just have them interact at all, I would be 100% okay with that. HE GAVE HER THE KEY TO ~~HIS HEART~~ KILLING HIM.

This is primarily a request for the character rather than the fandom, and as such, I would be happy with Rose-centric fic from any of her comics appearances - please don't feel like you have to write about the New 52! (Though if you want to, obviously, feel free.) I particularly love pre-reboot Rose and her place in the Teen Titans, and and her appearance in the Renegade arc of Nightwing was also super amazing (ALL SHE NEEDS IS FOR SOMEBODY TO VALUE HER AND HAVE FAITH IN HER CUE DICK GRAYSON, BEST HUMAN), so anything set in either of those eras would be particularly fantastic. If you do write post-reboot Rose, I'm really not a fan of her family retcons/whitewashing/etc., so please try to keep her like the Rose I actually fell in love with.

Where can I find it? The Ravagers is a title that ran for 12 issues as part of the New 52 before being cancelled. Prior to the New 52 reboot, Rose appeared in titles including Teen Titans (2003-2011), the 'Renegade' arc of Nightwing (issues #112-117), the 2008 Terror Titans miniseries, and a backup series of her own collected as Ravager: Fresh Blood. These appearances are all collected in trade paperback or available online. The Rose Wilson masterpost contains links to all her pre-New 52 comics appearances.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine (TV) (Amy Santiago, Jake Peralta)

Favourite new show! I'm so in love with this show, from the humour to the characters to the relationships between them. Most of all, I love Santiago and Peralta, and the blend of flirty/friendly/competitive/antagonistic partnership we got between them, especially in the pilot. (Basically, I need Detective Terrible Detective in my life <3) I'd love ensemble fic as well as something featuring just the two of them, and while I'm not expecting comedy fic, I'd prefer something humorous or at least lighthearted in keeping with the tone of the show.

Things I would particularly love:

The continuation or culmination of the bet between them. What if they tie? How far are either of them willing to go to pull ahead? What happens once one of them wins - will Santiago be going home in a new car, or will Peralta get that date after all? (And is Gina's prediction of some 'over the clothes action' accurate?)

Casefic! I'd love to see what kind of shenanigans they get up to while working a case together (or working competing cases, or separate cases that somehow turn out to be linked).

Anything ever where they hook up. Or pretend to hook up - maybe they have to go undercover as a couple? Or Peralta screws up and they get trapped somewhere and (eventually) pass the time by making out? Or the fic where they're secretly hooking up and trying to hide it (and maybe everybody around the precinct already knows, but they play along anyway).

General shenanigans around the precinct, featuring the extended cast or not. How do they celebrate somebody's birthday, or participate in more community outreach programs, or pass the time on neverending overtime shifts? (With a healthy dose of wacky hijinks, I'll bet.)

What other traditions, rules, or games did they have before Captain Holt came on board? How do they try to continue/resurrect/adapt them?

Where can I find it? Brooklyn Nine-Nine is a currently airing half hour sitcom on Fox. At the time of sign ups, three episodes have aired. You can catch up on past episodes on the Fox website, or via ~other means.
