QUESTIONS

Leitmotif of the year:
I don't know about this year, but I posted a little while ago about the only story I ever seem to write, so, I guess that? Also YAY FUN FIGHTING CRIME/DINOSAURS/ENCHANTED LEMONADE, POSSIBLY WITH MAKEOUTS.

What's the story that makes you happiest?
I have to admit, I had a lot more fun than I should have coming up with bear puns for The Unbearable Lightness Of Being A Cop.

My favorite story this year:
Hero For Hire was the story I'd been desperately wanting to write, and if it isn't perfect, it at least hit on most of the things I wanted out of it.

Most popular story:
According to AO3, A Dinosaur, A Giant Penny, And Two Hundred Chocolate Eggs. Which, yay, Batfamily!

Most fun story:
I feel like most of my fics this year were pretty fun, which is to say, none of them were particularly serious. But probably also A Dinosaur, A Giant Penny, And Two Hundred Chocolate Eggs, because Easter egg hunts in the Batcave <3

Sexiest story:
Take On Me. Fake makeouts except oops I think we'd better go have sex now FTW.

Saddest story:
In as far as anything I write is ever really sad, No One Takes Your Freedom did deliver a bit on the Kory angst front.

Most telling story:
I think OMG Dinosaurs! was pretty telling in the sense of being possibly the least anon fic I've ever written.

Biggest surprise:
Positive Tension, aka. that time I actually wrote dudeslash. Which never happens, but I am just really into Scott McCall, okay. (And that time he sniffed Danny, and that other time they went to a gay bar and Scott was like DUDE I THINK THIS IS A GAY BAR. So obviously I need all the fic about that.)

Favourite opening line:
The day begins as it means to go on, which is to say, fairly disastrously. (from Through Smoke)

Favourite closing line:
"I already regret this."

"Don't," he says, slinging an arm over her shoulder. Yep, definitely regretting this. "I think this is going to be the start of a beautiful friendship …"

"Dawn," she says, after a long pause. Because he's forgotten her name already. Fantastic.

She has absolutely no idea how this could ever go wrong.
(from Let's Get Down To Business)

Favourite title:
A lot of my titles this year were either great or terrible, and I'm not sure I can tell which is which. But I actually really love OMG Dinosaurs!, which was the entire premise for the fic before it somehow morphed into being the actual title, but whatever, it's fitting and it sums up the most relevant points of the fic (to wit, there are dinosaurs).

Goals for 2014:
Maybe not necessarily to write more, since I have a feeling I'm going to be super busy with work, but I'd like to actually write some fics just because I want to, rather than relying on fic exchanges to force me to write, which is what happened with 100% of my fic output this year.
