So, that unpopular opinions meme:

I like a lot of characters I'm probably not supposed to. I love Lamb, which may not be uncommon, but is difficult to reconcile with the pilot - and I really don't care. He's a horrible, hateful person, and if he were real, I'd despise him. But he's not, and I adore him. (And as much as I ship Logan/Veronica, I think I prefer Lamb/Veronica.) I love Dick (and, er, Big Dick); Dick/Veronica is a not-so-secret guilty pleasure of mine, and I wish there was more of it. I love Madison Sinclair, and I really hate Veronica's demonisation of her; Madison was the intended victim of the drug Veronica took, and while I don't necessarily expect that to elicit sympathy from Veronica - there's no love lost between them - for Veronica to blame Madison for what happened even as late as mid-season three, while she's completely forgiven Logan for his part and seems to have written off Dick as "just being Dick" is ... well, atrocious. Oh, and - *points to icon*. Yes, he's despicable. But still ... kinda hot.
Also, I'm never entirely sure if I like Kristin Bell.
Summer Roberts:
Unpopular opinions about Summer? That's hard - she's pretty well loved, right? Hmm ... as much as I'll agree that she's a better person in season four, I don't love her any more than I did even in the very beginning of season one, when she was shallow, vapid, and kind of slutty. And if she really had gone back to being the "old Summer," I doubt I would have minded. And Summer/Taylor BFF is so much better than Summer/Marissa BFF, which is maybe not so much an opinion on Summer, but anyway. Oh, and I totally ship Zach/Summer.

I can freely (as long as I don't mention it to my KB loving flisters) admit that I don't like Kristin Bell. I love her in VM, especially in S1 and 2, but I've heard enough about KB to make me dislike her. And probably as a result I'm incapable of liking her on Heroes.
I liked Lamb too. And Dick. For me they are great characters, rather than being people I'd ever like in rl.
I must admit I've never thought about Madison too much - I think her attitude can be a little too bitchy for me to see past and give her sympathy. I probably should try harder though. :)
It's so funny watching the early Summer, which I'm just doing now, compared to the finished version. I must admit that I didn't like her then, and am very glad she changed into the awesome person she did.

I'm not a fan. And I've tried really, really hard. I briefly loved her in Letters From Pegasus, but that's about the closest I got. I think Torri Higginson is a beautiful, vibrant woman, but that gets lost somewhere between her and Elizabeth, and I'm really never sure what she's going for with the character - calm, competent leader? Someone who's been thrust way in over her head, and is just trying to stay afloat? Professional woman who can hold her own against the boys' club? Casual,
inappropriatelyflirtatious colleague? Granted, a lot of that is the writers' fault, but the flirting thing in particular throws me off - it isn't how I see the character, but it seems to be how Torri Higginson does.Teyla:
As far as unpopular opinions go, I suppose it's fairly uncommon for Teyla to be a favourite character. And as much as I love every aspect of her character, and the way that she's a lot more layered than people suspect, the first thing that drew me to her was that she's a smoking hot, kickass fighter chick; for a lot of people, that seems to be a reason (or an excuse) to be turned off the character, to claim her as two-dimensional and stereotyped, but it's the thing that resonates most strongly for me.

I have no preferred Kara ship. I ship Lee/Kara, but I'm not OTP about it, which seems uncommon among fans of the pairing. I adore Anders/Kara, and I see nothing wrong with liking both at the same time. And I love Leoben/Kara, too, just for good measure.
I like Cally - at least, in the early seasons. I liked Kat; a lot of people seem to hate her, but I don't think she did anything to Kara that Kara didn't do to Tigh, nor was it without provocation. I don't worship Laura Roslin (which, I know, is practically heresy), but I do kinda ship Zarek/Roslin.

Yeah I did notice that the Lee/Kara shippers are very OTP about it. I ship them too but like you I also adore Kara/Sam and looove Kara/Leoben. I'm wacky that way! (Kara/Helo? Y/Y?)
I also like Cally and Kat. Cally moreso than Kat but yeah, I don't get all the hate either. And I also don't worship Roslin lol. It's funny all your "unpopular opinions" seem to be opinions I share at least marginally! Woot!

Helo/Kara ... yes. Helo/Sharon is one of the few pairings I actually get OTP-ish about (in the traditional, unable to ship those characters with other people, way), but I can work with Helo/Kara, and I've read a few excellent Helo/Kara fics, which always helps :D
