Why, fandom, why?

I don't know how I missed it for so long. All around me, people are complaining about the drawbacks of searching for fic in this fandom, and I'm sitting here, going, I guess, but I've found some pretty good stuff already, and nothing really eye-gougingly bad. Oh, how naive and unspoiled - and happy! - I was.

In other words, WHY THE HELL AM I STILL SCROLLING THROUGH THIS COMMUNITY? WHY AM I CLICKING ON ALL THESE FICS?

I do not need to read a Bring It On AU. No, really. I don't care how many stars out of five you give your own fic. And I don't want to read 400-word installments of a virtual season.

Oh, I'd love to stop, you see, but I can't.

Yep. Unfortunately (fortunately?) it was friends-locked, so I haven't read it. Still ... I just don't even know how that would work.
