Bang Bang

thelittlebang. I'm really excited - I've had this story idea and notes sitting around on a list of Things I Should Write for ages, so this should be an awesome motivation for me to, y'know, actually write it. Plus, this will be the first Big Bang (or, well, Little Bang, obviously) I've participated in, and 15,000 words sounds like a manageable way to try to ease into that.
Writers need two betas, and people writing in small fandoms need to bring at least one of their own. I've already asked![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
talumin if he'd be willing to do it (which went something like -
amathela: Would you be willing to beta a femslash -
talumin: Yes!)
But if anyone on my friends list would be interested in beta-ing a 15,000 word She's The Man (Olivia/Viola) rom-com, that'd be awesome.
And the writing period doesn't start until March, which is good, because it gives me time to plot and outline and stuff, plus to finish up a few of the fics I'm currently working on before that.
Also, since it's February, I figured now would be a good time to check in with my Fannish New Year's Resolutions.
Leave more feedback: I haven't been reading much so far this year, since I've been fairly busy writing. But I'm trying to comment on everything I read and like, and it's going pretty well. Not perfectly, but a definite improvement.
Write longer fics: Yes! So far, everything I've written this year has been over 1000 words, and more than half my fics have been over 2500 words. Plus, I finished writing (if not typing/editing/posting) the sequel to What Goes Down, which clocks in at about 30,000 words. So, yay :D
Organise unfinished fic and fic ideas: Um, sort of. I made a separate space to post all my incomplete fics, but I haven't got around to typing them all up yet, and I still have roughly a million sheets of paper with random notes and pieces of fic on them. But, it's a process.
Finish at least one vid: Nothing finished yet, but I did so some work on a vid in progress, so, yes.
Wow, apparently I'm going really well with those! Which is both unexpected and awesome.
