First off, I am so, so excited about this ficathon. And that you're writing something for me. Whatever it is, I'm sure it will be super awesome, and I'm really excited to read it. And if you already know what you're going to write - that's awesome! Go for it. If you're excited about it, there's roughly a 100% chance I'll be excited about it, too. But if you wanted a few more ideas, or to know about stuff I like and dislike or whatever, I can do that, too.
Basically, I love all the people I requested fic about, and would be happy to read about them in pretty much any situation; I'd particularly love shippy fic, but gen is fine, if you can't manage that. I love banter, unresolved (and resolved) sexual tension, romantic comedy, action/adventure, wacky hijinks, humour, crack, and ridiculous AUs. I love apocafic, angsty or otherwise (but especially otherwise). I love people having fun. I love first times, and secret relationships, and ex-girlfriends and boyfriends, and rekindling old relationships. I love people being in love without having to say it, and people who are obviously in love but maybe don't realise it, and ridiculously overblown romantic gestures where one person completely embarrasses themselves, because that's kind of the point of the grand gesture. I'm not a huge fan of sad, tragic, angsty stories, but if that's the kind of thing you love, or the kind of thing you feel like writing, by all means, please do. Mostly, I feel like if you have fun with what you write, I'll have fun reading it :D
The Office, B.J. Novak/Mindy Kaling, courtship
I love stories where one person kind of pursues the other, and there are various complications and then everything works out okay in the end, because I'm totally a sucker for that kind of thing. And I love Ryan and Kelly, and that B.J. and Mindy write for Ryan and Kelly, and this really old clip where they're on the phone at one of Mindy's stand-up gigs, and Subtle Sexuality, which was probably my favourite thing to come out of The Office since season three. And the fact that I'm pretty much convinced that they're in love (because, seriously, who wouldn't love Mindy Kaling?). And, really, I'd be happy with anything you wanted to write - like, about courtship riddles, or writing for the show, or secretly (or not-so-secretly) dating, or B.J. secretly (or not-so-secretly) pining, or the Epic Romance Of Awesome Between B.J. And Mindy, or, really, anything at all, because I love these two so much, so, surprise me! I guarantee you I will love anything you write about them.
Merlin, Bradley James/Katie McGrath, quest
I find Bradley James and Katie McGrath really adorable, individually and together. But especially together. I love the way they tease each other constantly (but in a way where they really love each other), and bicker, and seem to have a lot of fun, and I love the cast being really good friends. I love the way Bradley makes ridiculous faces and Katie doesn't like shopping (except for books) and they're basically huge dorks, and the way that, sometimes, Bradley might as well pull her pigtails. I would love regular, modern-day fic, with teasing and bickering and games and friendship, and maybe Bradley trying (and totally failing, obviously) to be ~smooth~, and where his quest is, IDK, to make Katie fall in love with him or something, but I'd also love a totally cracktastic AU where they're on an actual quest, or, well, anything else you'd like to write. And I'm more than happy for Angel Coulby and Colin Morgan to be involved, too.
Wizards Of Waverly Place, David Henrie/Selena Gomez, genie
Okay, so, I really love the way that David Henrie is maybe kind of a douche, only not so much when he's around Selena, and the way they have this awesome chemistry, and obviously adore each other, and keep going out on all these things that any reasonable person would probably call a date. And the way they say they're like brother and sister but do a really bad job of acting like it, and the way her BFF apparently thinks they'd be a perfect couple and keeps trying to set them up via teen magazines. And I really love Disney fandom in general, so if you're into that, I'm happy for you to include other Wizards Of Waverly Place cast members, or other Disney channel stars, but it's obviously not required. I have an abiding fondness for ridiculous cracky things, so if you wanted to write me, like, a David/Selena Aladdin AU, or include an actual genie, or people making wishes, that would be okay. Or if you wanted to write about Selena Gomez in a genie costume, because I think David Henrie would find that really hot. Or, you know, whatever else you like, because it's your fic, so, I am cool with whatever you want to do.
Princess Protection Program, Demi Lovato/Selena Gomez, D.E.B.S.
So, I kind of apologise for the crackiness inherent in this prompt. Only, well, not very deeply, because I do love crack, and I feel like, maybe if you love Princess Protection Program or adorable Disney teen stars, you're okay with it also? But, okay, D.E.B.S., if you've never heard of it, is a spy action/comedy about cute girls who fall in love, and it's awesome. So, I mean, if you wanted to write me a Demi/Selena D.E.B.S. AU, I would be okay with that. You could also maybe write something about them filming the end of Princess Protection Program, which is basically D.E.B.S. meets Disney princesses, or about them just hanging out and watching really gay movies together, or, I don't know. Possibly you have a whole different idea that's way better than any of mine. Do feel free to interpret the prompt as loosely as you like. In case her being in two of my requests didn't tip you off, I do love Selena Gomez, and I love Demi Lovato also, and I think they're adorable both together and separately. And I love the way they're super close BFFs who make ridiculous YouTube videos together, and then maybe make out a little. Or are possibly epically in love, or something. Whatever, it's totally up to you.
