It's my birthday, and I'll be uncool if I want to
Okay, so apparently this is the time of year where I disappear for long stretches at a time. More of that will probably be happening, at least until I finish my holiday exchange fics (and birthday fic for ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
dollsome, which is coming, too!), so here's a mish-mash update.
1. It was my birthday, yay! Thank you so much to everyone who wished me a happy birthday, and to everyone who sent me a v-gift - you guys are so awesome! I meant to take advantage of the free snowflake cookie thing, but missed out - just know I love you guys, anyway. I celebrated by watching crappy movies (the first three Bring It On films, which get exponentially worse as the series progresses - I do love the first one, though), drinking crappy sparkling wine, and having pancakes for dinner. So, it was pretty awesome.
2. Ack, my paid account and userpics are expiring! Why am I so attached to these things? Must see if I can justify using potentially-arriving Christmas money to pay for a renewal.
3. Random Thoughts On This Season Of Smallville, According Totalumin:
LOIS: But I do remember seeing a whole new side of Clark Kent.
CLARK: Which side was that?
LOIS: I'll give you a hint. It starts with 'h' and ends with 'ero.'
talumin: Hetero?
And I was recapping Pandora, since he hasn't seen anything this season after The One With The Inexplicable Zombies Where It Rained Clark's Blood -
amathela: And there was a red sun, which gave them all powers, except Clark, because for some reason they don't have powers under a yellow sun.
talumin: Maybe they're all clones.
amathela: ... They are, in fact, clones.
Yeah, so apparently it's possible to guess Smallville storylines by making up the most ridiculous thing you can think of and saying it aloud.
4. Also, okay, a very important poll (while I can still make them!) If, HYPOTHETICALLY, Demi and Selena were involved in some sort of jewel heist AU ...
