Festivids!
Dear festividder,
I am so, so excited about this, I can't even tell you - someone making a vid just for me? In a small fandom that I love? Count me in! I hope there's something in my requests that works for you - I tried to be as open as possible with my requests, while still hopefully giving you something to work with and some idea about what I like best about those fandoms. But, seriously, anything you make will be cherished and adored and rewatched until my computer breaks down, there is seriously no pressure here, just vid something you're excited by and I am sure to love it!
I don't really have any fandom-specific notes to add that weren't in my requests, but in general: I like all kinds of vids, from fun, happy vids to fast, action-y vids to dense, thinky vids, and everything in between. My musical tastes are pretty eclectic, and I love it when a song choice surprises me - as long as it fits the vid, I'll love pretty much anything. I do have a vid recs tag, if that's something you're at all interested in.
And for anybody who's curious about what I asked for:
Arrested Development
Music: Something fun! Whatever your definition of 'fun' is.
Details: I would love some kind of highly disfunctional ensemble vid, or maybe something about Lindsay, Michael, or even Gob (or Michael/Lindsay, if that's your thing). Anything that managed to retain some of the general tone of the show would be super awesome.
Better Off Ted
Details: Veronica is my favourite, but I love absolutely everybody. I would particularly love something about Veronica, Ted/Veronica, or the ensemble (with generous Lem and Phil!) - maybe something about how working for Veridian is absolutely ridiculous, but hey, at least it's never boring?
Covert Affairs
Music: Something upbeat and/or action-y? I'm thinking this would be a pretty fun vid, so whatever you feel would go with that.
Details: I would absolutely love something about Annie being kickass and fabulous. I also adore Auggie - Annie/Auggie would be super awesome - but including her backstory with Ben or flirtation with other characters or fitting in at the agency or anything else would be fabulous too. And I love ensemble vids, and Joan is fierce, so. Do what you like!
Greek
Music: Ooh, anything! Maybe something upbeat or indie-ish, but it really depends on what you choose to vid.
Details: I pretty much love everybody on this show, so really, you could not go wrong with this. I especially love Ashleigh and Rebecca, am very fond of the Evan/Casey/Cappie triangle (or OT3) in its various iterations, and many of the supporting characters hold special places in my heart, so I would be thrilled by anything from a character study to an ensemble vid to something shippy. I am not the biggest fan of Rusty and Dale, but I am more than happy for them to appear, just not as the sole focus of the vid.
The Middleman
Music: Maybe something a little quirky, interesting, or unusual? But absolutely anything would be cool.
Details: Oh my god, anything! Seriously - this show is wonderful, I would watch any vid ever. I especially love Wendy and the Middleman doing their thing, but if there's something else you'd particularly like to do - by all means, go for it.
Primeval
Music: I'm thinking something kind of fast and action-y, but if you have a different idea in mind, go with that.
Details: What I'd really love is an ensemble vid - teaminess is love! I love all versions of the team (+ Lester), but don't feel like you have to include absolutely everybody if you really don't want to. Abby, Stephen, and Becker are my favourites, and I'm not particularly enamoured of Helen, but beyond that, I'm not terribly picky. Um, I like it when they fight dinosaurs?
Push
Details: Cassie! Nick! Nick/Cassie! Okay, so: I'm not actually expecting a shippy vid from this, but I am totally on board with Nick/Cassie, in case you were wondering. Anything focused on Nick and/or Cassie (plus supporting characters, as you like) would be awesome, but I would adore absolutely any vid you could make about this movie. Something conceptual as well as or instead of character-based could also be cool.
Weeds
Music: The show has a lot of awesome music - you don't have to dive straight into the soundtrack, but maybe something in that vein?
Details: Nancy is my favourite, like, ever, but I really love everyone on the show, particularly those with the last name Botwin. Honestly, there is no way you could disappoint me with this, everything about Weeds is super fantastic and I'm sure your vid will be, too.
Oh, and yes, I am more than okay with receiving treats!
