Dear festividder,

I am so, so excited about this, I can't even tell you - someone making a vid just for me? In a small fandom that I love? Count me in! I hope there's something in my requests that works for you - I tried to be as open as possible with my requests, while still hopefully giving you something to work with and some idea about what I like best about those fandoms. But, seriously, anything you make will be cherished and adored and rewatched until my computer breaks down, there is seriously no pressure here, just vid something you're excited by and I am sure to love it!

I don't really have any fandom-specific notes to add that weren't in my requests, but in general: I like all kinds of vids, from fun, happy vids to fast, action-y vids to dense, thinky vids, and everything in between. My musical tastes are pretty eclectic, and I love it when a song choice surprises me - as long as it fits the vid, I'll love pretty much anything. I do have a vid recs tag, if that's something you're at all interested in.

I only write two fics in March, which is not that surprising, considering I've been working on my stories for thelittlebang and boxofmagic. Anyway, they were both for fandoms I hadn't written in for a while, so I'm counting it as a win.


I Enjoy Being (Insert Here) (Arrested Development - Michael/Lindsay - PG-13 - 1169 words) Two things Lindsay tried to be, and one she didn't have to (but did anyway).

Electric Feel (Heroes - Nathan/Claire - R - 1252 words) The wallpaper is too loud, the water pressure sucks, and she already misses her own bed. Spoilers up to episode 3:19 - Shades Of Gray.


The latter was written for the Heroes anon kink meme, which is actually the first time I've participated in a kink meme; it was a lot of fun. And I really meant to write some fics for bsg_pornbattle, but I was out of town (and without internet access) the weekend it was on. I still need to read the fics that were posted there, though, and I might even end up using some of the prompts as inspiration for later fics.

And, whew! I (finally) finished my BSG miniseries picspam, which took me way longer than I anticipated - still, it was a lot of fun, and the pretty = ♥. One thing-in-progress done, only a zillion to go.

So, basically, unrequited love stories are, like, a pretty big thing in television, but I had to stretch the prompt fairly liberally in order to answer it. Because, really, I'm not so much a fan of unrequited love. I mean, pairings where one person is really into the other, and then they pursue them and stuff? I'm all over. But pining is just ... really very much not for me, which is why I didn't include most of the major unrequited love whatevers in my fandoms. And I'm probably forgetting a bunch of pairings I really love, but I can live with that.

Once upon a time, I never read crossover fic. I had got it into my head that I didn't like it (despite never having read any); so when I did finally start reading it, I was very picky about what I would read. As an unintended and suitably amusing result, I've never met a crossover fic I didn't like.

So, without much further ado, here are the ones I did:

Afternoon Delight by boyfriendincoma (Veronica Mars/Arrested Development - PG-13 - 5665 words) If you've got a today, don't wear it tomorrow. Tomorrow never happens. It's all the same day.

All's Ferret In Love and War by monimala and angel_grace (Veronica Mars/Harry Potter - R - 1880 words) A short sequel to our epic insanity, Veronica Mars and the Vagabond Squib, written because we were both feeling pretty silly and nostalgic.
