Remember December 2009
Ugh, this is all
cashewdani's fault. And a little bit
pirateygoodness's fault. YOU CAN'T JUST COME IN AND START TALKING ABOUT DISNEY FANDOM AGAIN LIKE IT'S NBD, I'm not even sure I ever managed to leave the fandom in the first place (IT'S STILL MY MOOD THEME, FOREVER FAVOURITE) AND YOU KNOW HOW IT MAKES ME FEEL THINGS.
Like: I just rewatched the Wizards of Waverly Place movie and it gave me a super embarrassing number of feelings. No, wait, ~FEELINGS. Especially since the show ended(!) and the competition happened for real(!!!!), even though I don't actually know how that went because I still haven't watched the last three episodes, ugh, I just am not ready for it to be over (see above re: not actually having left the fandom - there may not be much of it left any more, but I'll always have my campfirescene to keep me warm).
ALSO PLEASE TELL ME EVERYONE HAS SEEN THIS:
It's like the perfect storm of things I love, basically SELENA GOMEZ + BIG TIME RUSH + SUPER RIDICULOUSNESS = I can't even hate it on account of Justin Bieber, whatever, I guess I have made peace with Selena's terrible boyfriend choices. (Also, I totally did not notice until now that that video was actually posted by Carlos Pena, ugh, why do I love them and their stupid-ass faces so much. Also, desire to write a WOWP/BTR crossover: rising.)

OF COURSE, then I see something like this, and all the ridiculous makes me want to give in and start shipping like mad.
The finale! You must watch it! (Although I did the same thing with Futurama, where I picked one episode at random, and I have refused to watch it ever, just so that there is always some Futurama that I have not seen, so that I have it in store in case of rainy day or emergency).
WITH NOT REALLY SPOILERS REVIEW: I wasn't happy with a lot of the season four episodes, mostly because I just do not like Mason and he was so prevalent, and because they transitioned to a more serious atmosphere than the early seasons, but tried to maintain the comedy, and I always felt like they did it wrong and I had whiplash from the changes. BUT! The finale was amazing! There were certainly problems with it, but I think it was very good overall. I knew going in that I had no idea how they were going to end the competition, because there was just too many possible ways I could see it ending, but even knowing that, I was surprised at the way it turned out. Also! There is a scene where there is music and there are totally ~eyes being made!
You should definitely watch it and then discuss all the feelings with me!
Ugh, now I'm going to spend all my time focusing on finishing that essay about all my ~feelings for Alex and Justin.

I will watch the last few episodes! Soon, even! I just have to psych myself up for it; I've actually enjoyed Mason a lot more lately than I used to, but the Wizards vs Everything arc was a bit anticlimactic and I'm not super psyched about Juliet being back (LIKE, SHE'S GONE FOREVER OR SHE ISN'T, MAKE UP YOUR MINDS, I DON'T CARE), but, okay, I am totally going to watch them. AND THEN I WILL HAVE ALL THE FEELINGS AND I WILL DEFINITELY NEED PEOPLE TO TALK ABOUT THEM WITH.

I think most people hate on Mason because they see him as breaking up Justin/Alex, and they need to murder the hypotenuse to get them together (and since Juliet was gone for so long, she didn't get the same hate). I do agree that he's creepy bordering on stalkery in some of his appearances, but I think the thing I dislike about him most is his voice. UGH. It just sounds wrong to me, if that makes sense?
Also, I cannot see Alex and Mason working out long term, for reasons that I will elaborate on as soon as I get some free time this weekend, but I CAN see Justin and Juliet working, so I don't dislike her as much. If I remember correctly, Juliet is 2000 years old, and Mason is at least 400, but she's the only one who acts mature. I mean, Mason reads to me like a little kid, while Juliet reads to me a lot like Methos did; 'Yeah, I was there, did that, got the t-shirt, only they hadn't invented t-shirts yet, so it's more of a commemorative toga.' She got over the whole angst thing centuries ago, and she JUST WANTS TO HAVE FUN, OKAY (THERE WAS A SONG. SHE MAY HAVE BEEN IN THE MUSIC VIDEO, IT'S NBD).
Ugh, I need to go and drive and be places, so I will post more later. THIS WAS MEANT TO BE A FIVE SECOND REPLY, CLEARLY I HAVE UNEXPRESSED EMOTIONS ON THIS TOPIC.
