I'd number this post but I'm seriously too lazy to look that up
So I did that seven questions meme and then TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT IT, OOPS. Anyway!
torigates gave me:
Who is your favourite superhero and what is the best incarnation of them?
Wonder Woman! ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥. And the best incarnation is ALL OF THEM. I mean, I've only read from vol. 2 (late eighties) onwards, so I'm not familiar with Golden Age/Silver Age Wonder Woman at all, and I mean - the volumes I've read have all had their perks and their flaws, but overall they're all pretty great, and I love Wonder Woman the best. I still haven't read some of the limited titles/graphic novels (like Trinity and The Hiketeia, which I own but haven't got around to reading) or watched any of the animated movies (which I'd like to) or, shockingly, the Lynda Carter TV series, but - I'm sure they're all pretty great too?
Basically, ALL WONDER WOMEN ARE EXCELLENT WONDER WOMEN.

SUPER CLOSE RUNNERS UP: Emma Frost, Stephanie Brown's Batgirl, SUPERMAN BECAUSE HE'S SUCH A DICK AND I REALLY ENJOY THAT APPARENTLY.
What is the best part about Young Justice?
SO NOT A FAIR QUESTION, BECAUSE OBVIOUSLY THE CORRECT ANSWER IS ALL OF IT. But, fine, THINGS I LOVE AN ESPECIALLY HUGE AMOUNT: Artemis and everything she does ever, 100% FLAWLESS; Conner and his rage and his daddy issues and his love of static and hatred of monkeys and awesome relationship with M'gann; Superman for being the WORST EVER; Batman, especially when he's effortlessly being a better dad than Supes EVEN THOUGH HIS PARENTS DIED OKAY; M'gann and the way she remade herself and the way she loves her friends so much she nearly killed them all; the rest of the dudes I guess; EVERYTHING ELSE EVER. And the fact that the part of fandom on my flist is small but awesome and super enthusiastic, which means I don't ever have to interact with fandom at large, which in this case is pretty terrible.
Which movie have you watched the most often?
I'm going to have to go with Clueless - if there were actually a way to retroactively measure that, Clueless is probably what I'd expect to be #1. I JUST REALLY LOVE THAT MOVIE OKAY. I also used to watch The Little Mermaid A LOT when I was a kid, so that's probably a contender. And Alice in Wonderland (the animated version, obvs.)
I also sometimes go on these - movie-watching binges? Which is kind of what it sounds like, only instead of watching a ton of movies I watch the same one over and over. Not particularly based on how good it is or even how much I love it, it just - gets stuck in my brainspace and then I watch it until it leaves again. (Films I have done this with: Pitch Black, Reservoir Dogs, She's The Man, Doom, and the Wizards of Waverly Place movie. There's a weird genre thing going on there.
Where would you most like to travel in the world?
Out of places I've never been - gosh, everywhere. I'd really like to go to Mexico, which probably doesn't sound like a big deal to people who can drive there but really is to me! Or Egypt, or Greece - can I have three answers? Those are my three answers. Oh, and India! That's four. (In case you've never met me, hi, I'm terrible at making decisions.)
In terms of places I'd like to go back to, Spain and Vanuatu. Those were my favourites <3
When you were little what did you want to be when you grew up?
Buffy the Vampire Slayer! Or Sam Seaborn.
Honestly, I never really had any fantasies about what I wanted to be (other than a princess or a vampire slayer), which is exactly as sad as it sounds. My usual answer was, "I guess, a lawyer?" until I was actually in law school, at which point it became "... not a lawyer."
Yeah, IDK. Why is vampire-slaying princess not a legitimate career path?
Who was your first celebrity crush?
Alex Dimitriades! Who probably nobody on my flist has even heard of, but if you have, it's probably because he was Velorek on Farscape. Or you're Australian and watched the amazingness that is Heartbreak High (WHICH I NOW HAVE ON DVD, STILL MY MOST EXCITING PURCHASE OF THE LAST SIX MONTHS) and/or Wildside.
BUT SINCE YOU'RE PROBABLY UNFAMILIAR WITH HIM AND THAT IS SAD, VISUAL AIDS!

WELCOME TO THE NINETIES.

That's him with Abi Tucker, aka his on-screen girlfriend and other serious contender for the answer to this question.

And with Melissa George! <3

Bonus Aeryn Sun, you're welcome.

... Yeah, IDEK.

But have some kangaroos! (Or wallabies. Maybe they're wallabies.)

Which show are you currently most obsessed with?
Probably fairly obviously (and possibly annoyingly? Sorry, sort of), Big Time Rush. I just - it is so great, you guys. THEY ARE STUPID BOYS WITH STUPID FACES AND IT IS SO RIDICULOUS, I CAN'T EVEN ARTICULATE WHY IT'S SO GREAT BUT IT IS. An the girls are the most amazingest - especially Katie, who is four feet of flawlessness, but also Camille and her method acting and LUCY ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ AWESOME ROCKER CHICK AND MY NEWEST LOVE (fun fact: my insane Lucy crush is so huge that at this point all I want to watch are episodes with her in them, which is a grand total of two plus a non-speaking but super awesome cameo at the end of a third. MY LIFE IS SO HARD, when is season three here) and the Jennifers and Kelly and Jo, and also Guitar Dude who isn't a girl but I do love him. BASICALLY THEY ARE ALL SUPER GREAT, I MENTIONED TO
darelose I MIGHT PUT TOGETHER A BTR PRIMER (I WILL WIN HER OVER TO BIG TIME RUSH BEFORE SHE WINS ME OVER TO ONE DIRECTION, MARK MY WORDS), SO I WILL PROBABLY DO THAT. NEVER SHUTTING UP ABOUT THIS, SORRY BUT NOT REALLY, YOU GUYS HAVE YOUR QUIRKS TOO.
Also I watched Monte Carlo, which isn't a DCOM but does star Selena Gomez, so it doesn't really count as branching out. But it did remind me I think I have some half-finished Selena Gomez/Leighton Meester fic stashed in a drawer somewhere, and I'm trying (unsuccessfully, but still) to finish off some WIPs this, IDK, year, so maybe I'll try to find that and dust it off. Or something.
And I watched two more episodes of Wizards of Waverly Place, which means I only have the finale to go! I'M JUST NOT READY OKAY, I WILL WATCH IT EVENTUALLY BUT YOU CAN'T RUSH THESE THINGS.

Actually, that quiz looks pretty fun.
Wizards: You just saw Rock Around the Clock, then? Y/Y TIME TRAVEL IS BEST IDEA EVER? That was probably one of my fave episodes, and definitely one of the stronger S4 ones, but the finale is awesome! Non-spoiler review: When you get to the song, THEIR EYES OMG, BEST EYESEX EVER. I know what you mean about not wanting it to end though, there's one episode of Futurama (Teenage Mutant Leela's Hurdles, because it was one of the only episodes left before S5 started that I hadn't seen) that I refuse to watch, simply so that there will always be Futurama I haven't seen. YES I KNOW I AM LAME AND SENTIMENTAL.
(HERE, have my new icon, I'm trying to get actual icons that are useful for actual posts, but am too lame to use other people's, so I'm making my own, and it goes so much slower)
