This one was made by me! Despite my non-awesome icon making skills, I needed comics icons (mostly Steph and Rose), so I went through and made some myself. This is from Batgirl #1 (IIRC), when Steph is doodling in class, and I thought it was super adorable and also pretty representative of my mental state at most times. I JUST THINK A LOT ABOUT COMICS OKAY.
This is my Smallville!Ollie icon that, honestly, I uploaded because I don't have any Arrow icons yet and I needed something other than my Kaitlin Cooper icon to use when talking about that show. BECAUSE I REALLY LOVE IT. Like, I didn't actually expect to? I had A LOT of misgivings about the show before it started, mostly in the way it was being marketed/talked about by the network, but I watched it anyway, because, superheroes! And then it was actually really enjoyable, so.
WADE AND ZOE. There is a part of me that can't even believe they're really going in the direction they're currently going in s2 (though I'm not actually up to date, but I am vaguely spoiled), because it's SO AMAZING and has ACTUAL FEELINGS, and!!!! I still remember last year when all I wanted was for them to make out sometimes, I NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD GET ANYTHING THIS GREAT.
FAVOURITES, YOU GUYS. I am also not up to date on New Girl (because, lbr, what TV show am I up to date on, oh right NONE OF THEM), but am also MASSIVELY SPOILED, whatever, I am just so in love with this show and all their stupid faces. Also WINSTON IS MY FAVOURITE, NGL, I KINDA JUDGE ALL THOSE PEOPLE (READ: EVERYBODY) WHOSE FAVOURITE IS NICK OR SCHMIDT. Just getting that out there. I mean, I still love you all, but you are kind of crazy, because Winston is objectively THE MOST DELIGHTFUL, OKAY.
BRITT ROBERTSON <3 <3 <3. I am still so into her, even if I never really managed to watch Secret Circle. This is from Life Unexpected, which was super adorable and, like, this perfect late 90's/early 2000's throwback IT EVEN HAD SHIRI APPLEBY BUT THIS TIME SHE WAS THE MUM, YOU GUYS, I CAN'T EVEN. And my biggest disappointment with the show, no lie, was the lack of a proper old-fashioned long credits sequence, I REALLY MISS THOSE IN SHOWS, and I was like, if any modern show were going to have one, it would have been this one! But no luck :( BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT. But the show left me with an enduring love of Britt Robertson's face, so, I forgave it.
NO GUITAR LESSONS FOR RUFUS. THIS, FOR THOSE WHO DON'T KNOW, IS FROM GOSSIP GAYS, SERIOUSLY LOOK IT UP IT IS SO AMAZING, THOUGH I THINK THEY ONLY DID THE FIRST TWO EPISODES? WHATEVER. RAGGEDY MCURCHINWAFFLES. WATCH IT.
Haha, speaking of being behind on TV shows, I am, like, two seasons behind on Covert Affairs. Which was never quite the show I wanted it to be, but. Piper Perabo as a spy! Which is pretty much my ideal show in one sentence, so, I will catch up eventually. Also, I really dig Annie/Auggie, and I heard they're doing thing with that? Who knows.
JACKSON/LYDIA ALL OF MY FEELS. ALL OF THEM. I know actually liking Jackson is a super unpopular opinion in Teen Wolf fandom, and I know Colton Haynes is kind of a problematic douchebag, but IDC OKAY. I ship Jackson/Lydia so, so much, and all I wanted was for them to be amazing in season three and for Jackson to keep being a huge jerk to everyone but Lydia (mostly), and nobody really gets why they're in love or how their relationship is actually functional, but it just is. AND NOW THAT'S NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN, STILL NOT OVER IT. But at least this way they can also never screw it up?
CECE <3 I love, love the relationship between Jess and Cece, and especially the way they are utterly ridiculous and totally real and also are willing to do really stupid things for each other, it is the greatest. Also she looks gorgeous even in this hat, so.
THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES WAS SO GOOD, RIGHT? It's probably one of the shows I love most that I'm not super fannish about (but man, do I love me some SCC fanvids).
Still in the middle of my rewatch of The O.C., and I'm loving Seth and Summer so much. Like, I probably paid more attention to Ryan/Marissa the first time around, and then season four happened and Taylor Townsend was my life, but Seth and Summer are really pretty great. BUT HE'S A TOOL. J and I quote that line a lot, apropos of nothing. It's awesome.
Because I like to have non-fannish icons sometimes? I go through so many fandoms I can't realistically have icons of every single thing I like or post about, so it's good to have some fandom-neutral icons sometimes for that purpose. Plus, I like this picture.

The moment I really, truly fell in love with Lydia was at the end of season one, when Stiles is telling her she's so smart she'll probably win the Nobel Prize someday, and she says, no, actually, she's going to win the Fields Medal. BECAUSE SHE'S A GENIUS AND SHE FUCKING OWNS IT, SHE'S SMART AND SHE'S AMBITIOUS AND SHE LIKES THAT ABOUT HERSELF <3 <3 <3 <3.
BATTLESTAR GALACTICA, I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU <3 <3 Especially the miniseries, which is so great, I still remember the first time I watched it and then THE REVEAL AT THE END, I COULDN'T EVEN BELIEVE WHAT WAS HAPPENING. Apart from being a super pretty icon, this also features one of my favourite BSG rare pairs, HER CRUSH IN SEASON ONE! SO CUTE! And then she tried to kill his father, whatever, other relationships have gone through way more crap than that on this show.
Way back when I read the first ASOIAF book, I hated Jorah and his crush on Dany so much, he was so creepy and ew, DNW ... and then they cast Iain Glen in Game of Thrones, so that didn't transfer over to the series so much ;) SERIOUSLY THOUGH WHO DOESN'T SHIP THEM AT LEAST A LITTLE? Not that I ever actually want them to hook up, because Jorah being super in love with her and Dany being like, I KNOW, WHATEVER, MOVING ON is super great. BUT THE SEASON ONE FINALE WHEN SHE KISSES HIS CHEEK, ALL MY FEELS.
