purimgifts again this year, and I just got my assignment, which is awesome. After finishing a bunch of long fics all in a row, I think a low pressure fic gift basket is exactly what I need.
(And yes, for those waiting, I am working on the birthday fics I promised. I've just been a little distracted, oops.)
In case you're mypurimgifts author, hello! I've written up a little bit about the fandoms I asked for and my favourite (Jewish and/or female) characters; in any of these fandoms, I'd love anything, of course, but this is just in case you're looking for a bit of extra direction :)
In general, I love fun stories; I'm not so much with the angst, but go for it if it's your thing. I love het and femslash as well as gen, and I really love female characters. Humour, crack, fluff, AU, banter, UST - I'll love pretty much anything, so just write whatever's fun for you!
Gilmore Girls: Lorelai is my absolute favourite, so I'd really love anything with her at all. Het, gen, or femslash, and I'm pretty open when it comes to ships - I love Luke/Lorelai and Chris/Lorelai, plus a bunch of slightly more obscure pairings (Finn/Lorelai, Max/Lorelai, Dean/Lorelai, Jess/Lorelai, Louise/Lorelai, or just about any crossover you can think of).
Greek: I love all the ZBZs, really; Ashleigh is my favourite, but I really love Casey and Rebecca, too. Het, gen, femslash, interhouse rivalry, partnering with the Kappa Taus or Omega Chis - just anything, really.
One Tree Hill: My favourite OTH character is Haley, but I love all the girls in their own ways; anything with Haley, Brooke, and/or Rachel would be awesome, though. I really approve of femslash for this fandom, but het and gen are good, too :) I'd prefer if you didn't pair Nathan with anyone other than Haley.
She's The Man: I love Olivia, Viola, and Duke, so any combination of them would be awesome. Kia and Yvonne are lovely, too. Femslash is fantastic, but so is het and gen.
The O.C.: I love the women on this show - Taylor, who is one of my favourite characters ever, Kaitlin, Julie, Summer ... anything at all, with any or all of them, would be completely awesome. Season four is my favourite, so I'd especially love anything set in that timeframe, though if you could manage Chrismukkah or any other Jewish and/or hybrid holiday fic with the extended Cohen clan in any way, it would slay me. As for pairings, I'm pretty easy; Ryan/Taylor is my OTP, but I multiship both of them, and any pairing, really - especially in season four - would be awesome.
Valentine: Phoebe! Phoebe is lovely and awesome, and I'd love anything about her at all, het, gen, or femslash.
Veronica Mars: Veronica is, predictably enough, my favourite VM girl, though I also love Lilly and Meg and (eek!) Madison. And Hannah, who doesn't get enough love. I enjoy Veronica paired with just about everyone, though I favour slightly less conventional pairings - Lamb/Veronica, Dick/Veronica, Casey/Veronica, Vinnie/Veronica, and Leo/Veronica are some of my favourites. Or Carter/Veronica, if you've seen the Veronica Mars FBI promo (I've talked about it here). And I have a strange fondness for a lot of the 09ers, so something set around season one or two would be awesome. And gen and femslash are perfectly welcome, too :D
Weeds: Nancy is ♥, though I'd love to read about any of the Botwin clan. Silas, Andy, Nancy (or Andy/Nancy!), or, if you could manage it, Judah (and Judah/Nancy).
