Secret Santa Requests
If you're reading this, you've probably been assigned my request in one of the fic exchanges I'm currently participating in - ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
sga_santa, elite_ggxchange, and prettylightsfic. If so, hi, and thank you; I'm sure I'll adore whatever you end up writing for me, but if you're looking for a little more guidance, or something to get you started, here are some additional notes about my requests (completely optional, naturally).

My Request:
John/Teyla - preferably plotty, team-centric, but anything John/Teyla is awesome. Alternatively, John and Teyla-focused genfic (with bonus subtext) or Lorne/Teyla. AUs and fluff are fine; smut isn't necessary, but if you want to include it, go ahead. I'd prefer not too many non-canon background pairings, but if you really want to include them, that's okay. Not too much angst/death/dark!fic; no pairing John with anyone other than Teyla.
Additional Notes:
I love plotty, action/adventure stories - off-world or in Atlantis, and bonus points for the rest of the team being involved at some stage. I'm not looking for overly sappy, romantic stuff (though fluff is perfectly fine); I love John and Teyla's relationship in canon, and anything that builds from that is perfect. I'm happy with gen or subtexty fic focused on John and Teyla, though I'd love some John/Teyla in there somewhere, and while I'm not looking for a perfect romantic ending, I'd like them to end up together in some way (or at least hint at it). Basically, I love stuff that sticks as closely to the "feel" of canon as possible, while going places canon wouldn't go.
While John/Teyla is generally my preferred pairing, I'd be just as happy with Lorne/Teyla (which I know hardly anyone writes, but if you want to go for it, then yay). I don't really have many preferences when it comes to Lorne/Teyla, if you decide to write it, but again, a Lorne/Teyla action/adventure story would probably have my heart forever.

I know this is really, really late, but on the off-chance you haven't finished the fic yet (in which case, don't feel bad):

Lorelai, please! I would really, really love Chris/Lorelai, Finn/Lorelai, or crossover fic (The O.C., Arrested Development, Veronica Mars, Wonderfalls, Heroes, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, or [spoiler-free] Supernatural). If I can't get any of that, I'd be happy with Luke/Lorelai. Some sort of town festival would be awesome. Otherwise, I'll leave it up to you. If you're writing Luke/Lorelai, I'd prefer early show canon (seasons 1-3 or pre-series). Otherwise, any time frame is cool. I'm fine with any side pairings, if you want to include them.

As much as I love Luke/Lorelai, I ship Chris/Lorelai like whoa, and there isn't enough fic out there that pairs Lorelai with other people. So Chris/Lorelai, Finn/Lorelai (I know, cracky), Dean/Lorelai, or even crossover pairings - Nathan/Lorelai (Heroes), Sam/Lorelai or Dean/Lorelai (Supernatural), Riley/Lorelai (BtVS), other crossover pairings, genfic (crossover or otherwise), or pretty much anything else would be absolutely wonderful. I'm happy with AU or canon fic, ensemble or solely Lorelai-centric; like I said in my request, I love town festivals (ones we've seen, and ones we haven't), but it isn't a necessity. As long as it's Lorelai-centric - and preferably happy rather than angsty - I'm good.
On the other hand, if you really can't write anything other than Luke/Lorelai, that's fine, and I do ship them. Like I said in my request, I'd really, really prefer it be set pre-series or during seasons one to three; I'm not really looking for established relationship fic, or a lot of angst. Banter, coffee, and Stars Hollow are all love, and again, I'd far prefer happy or even fluffy fic to sad, angsty fic.

Arrested Development, Jason Bateman/Portia de Rossi, cupcakes
Additional Notes:
I'd prefer the pairings listed as actual pairings, but I'd also be perfectly happy with genfic, and even a nod or reference to the pairing would be awesome. Ensemble fic is fantastic, as long as (preferably) it focuses on the people listed, but including other people is more than okay. I love fic placed on set, or at least referencing the shows, and having the cast be really close to one another is guaranteed to make me happy.
As far as pairings go, I'm not asking for smut, but you can write it if you like. I'm happy to read semi-AU fics, or fics which handwave RL partners away; if you want to deal with them existing, that's fine, but I'd prefer they not be mentioned too much.
