Somebody recently applied to [livejournal.com profile] hogwarts_elite, but deleted their journal before they were sorted. Today I noticed that their journal was undeleted, so I went and had another look at their application.

Among the last few votes was one with the subject line "Unsorted." I checked, and yep, they are, indeed, unsorted. They're a member of [livejournal.com profile] sorting_elite, so I can only assume that they've applied and are waiting for their application to be dropped. Intrigued, I went back to check out the last votes on all our unsorted applications.

This person has gone back over the last ten applications, and sorted each one. As if that weren't bad enough, on one of the applications they didn't sort, a second unsorted member had voted - only without worrying, as idiot #1 did, about including a subject line, bolding their vote, spelling, punctuation, or anything even vaguely resembling a sentence.

Just ... guh.

In the Idiot's Guide to Sorting - which you think these people would have read, being, as they are, idiots - it clearly states that, until you have been sorted, you may not reply to votes on others' applications. If you aren't allowed to reply to votes, what would make you think you can actually cast your own?

Seriously.
