How do I internet?

Hands up if you submitted a half-finished sign up for festivids!

*puts hand up*

It's not as bad as it could be - sign ups closed in the middle of the night my time, so yesterday morning I was playing around with requesting/offering different fandoms, with the full intention of submitting my final sign up that afternoon. Which, of course, I completely forgot to do. I did, however, managed to do some things right:

a) Submit a sign up in some form: Check!
b) Request fandoms I actually want to receive a vid in: Check! I had planned to make a couple of substitutions, but only to remove some fandoms no-one offered (which was most of mine)/make me easier to match. So, there's no chance I'll be disappointed by the vid I receive, but I will be a little less surprised. (IIRC, only two of my requests actually had offers, so.)
c) Offer some fandoms: Mostly check. I accidentally un-offered at least one fandom I really wanted to offer, and didn't get around to adding in the fandoms I requested (which isn't a big deal; no-one offered most of them, and I doubt anyone would have requested them.) So, in the end I probably offered about half the fandoms I meant to? But maybe this will inspire me to make this year the year I actually make some festivids treats (yay, silver lining!).

Ugh, I feel like the worst participant ever, although I'm pretty sure, even with my screw-up, I'm still matchable (which was not actually the case initially last year, so: progress!). At least work is going smoothly, because everything else has been a complete shemozzle.

Now I just need to find my latest sign up email so I can edit my Dear Festividder letter ...
