Fun with statistics

So, that AO3 meme going around:
( Sorted by hit count )
( Sorted by kudos )
So. Avengers, am I right? And yuletide - I'm not surprised that seven out of my ten highest-kudos fics were yuletide fics, since I tend to hang out in small fandoms year-round, so obviously yuletide is going to provide a decent forum for that. (The only small fandom fic not written for yuletide on that list is Wizards of Waverly Place, which, also not surprising.) What was surprising was Team Building 101 - I had no idea it was that popular, but it makes me super happy. Also No Heroics, since Doom is a downright nonexistent fandom outside of yuletide.
On the other hand, I think the list sorted by hit count is probably more representative of my general body of work (it's a lot of Wizards of Waverly Place and Disney RPF, which, yeah). And there are a few fics that show up on both lists, though I think the second list is more heavily populated by fics I posted directly to AO3 when I wrote them, rather than crossposting long after the fact (which is the case with most of my fics); I don't know if that makes much of a difference, but it seems like maybe a little? And if I had to make a top ten list of my own favourite fics, it's probably look a bit like a hybrid of both lists, with a few other/older fics thrown in, so I guess that's not bad.
One last interesting thing: If you sort by comment threads instead, most of the same fics still pop up, but The Déjà Fait Fate Destabilizer (The Middleman, Ensemble) gets in at number six, so I guess Middleman fans just really like talking about it? Small fandoms represent!
