I wish I was a mermaid and was friends with all the fish

I have a plot bunny! I think it'll make a nice change to write something fluffy. I'm not saying exactly what it is, but it involves a bunch of pesky kids and a dumb dog, too ...

Last night, I took my shirt off to go to bed, and Jeremy called out "omg boobs!" Maybe it was because it was 2am, or because I've been spending way too much time on the internet lately, but I couldn't stop laughing.

Am going down to Melbourne for the weekend with my dad to see my sister for her 21st. I feel old. I think I'm going to miss my internet connection, but I should be able to get some reading/writing done, and it'll be nice to get away for a few days. I haven't seen my sister in a while, so I'm looking forward to it. Besides, I like Melbourne. If only I knew when we were planning on moving there - looking for jobs is hard :(

Now, I really must pack.
